The flowers grow right
Where they please here they blossom
under the full moon

The gentle moonlight
Spilling out over my legs
It comes through the trees

The yellow blossoms
With the sun against their backs
Songbirds return home

A fresh rain
Tapping on tin roofing like
little visitors

Purple blooms
In the green grass
Free of snow

Yellow blossoms
Belonging to infant weeds
Evading the sickle
