Dean was a bit taken back from the forcefulness of Cas. He responded with a simple nod and quickly searched for the line in the glove box. As soon as he found it, he came out to see Cas already unbuttoning his dress shirt. He slowly approached Dean and simply took the lube from his hand started to kiss Dean on the lips gently. It hadn't occurred to Cas to perhaps ask a very important question:
"Are you sober now?" Cas asked concerned, he didn't give any thought as to if Dean would be able to actually agree to say yes or no. Cas mentally face palmed at the thought he almost considered to do this without proper consent. Why did he do this? Why couldn't he think ahead of time?
Dean was semi sober, but he knew that Cas was not going to do anything without full consent. "Dean. Are you..... sober?" Dean looked up shyly and admitted.
"Y-yeah, I'm still kind of drunk. B-but only a little bit- " Dean was cut off by another soft kiss. "No Dean. I rather have you all there rather than a little bit." Cas looked into Dean's hazel green eyes and made sure he was getting through to Dean. Dean didn't want that, he wanted Cas now. Right here and now, after all that time in the car and this is the fucking out come? "Come On Cas, please. Please just .... please?" Dean pleaded as he stared up at Cas with anticipation. But like the gentleman that Cas was, he held Dean's hands and kissed them. He liked Dean's enthusiasm, but he still didn't want to risk it.
"I know, Dean. But I want you to be sober when I make love to you. So please, sleep on this?" Dean sighed in defeat. Maybe Cas was right, he should be in his complete awareness if they were gonna try anything. "Alright, I'll sleep on it." Cas smiled and picked Dean up princess style to the bunker. He carried him until they reached Dean's room. Cas opened the door, walked in and set dean down on the bed. "Be sure to change, ok? I know you like to sleep with your 'day clothes' on, but just change." Cas whispered as he leaned down and pressed a kiss on Dean's temple. Dean felt like he didn't deserve this kind of care from this fantastic angel. As if he were reading Dean's mind, Cas said, " I want you to feel safe and that you can trust me. I don't want you to feel so vulnerable. I just kinda want this to be natural." Dean looked up at Cas with understanding eyes, he leaned up and kissed Cas on the lips. "Thank you for caring." Dean whispered. Cas smiled, got up from the bed, looked back while he was exiting the bedroom, and said "I.... I love you." And with that he quickly shut the door. Both of their hearts were pounding in their chests. Dean just really couldn't wait for tomorrow, but was nervous since he would have to probably have to ask Cas to do things to him rather than Cas just do it. Cas believed he did the right thing in letting Dean sober up and wait tomorrow. He doesn't want Dean to be uncomfortable, he actually wants him to be in a safe place to be able to tell him what he wants.
But what he didn't know was that there was a question burning inside of Dean at that very moment: was he not good enough? Did Cas just cast him aside as a thing to do another day? Did he... no, why would he think that? He clearly loves him, or else why would he go through the trouble of having Dean be driven home and take his sobriety into consideration. Cas was a gentleman, it was just that Dean wasn't quite used to that. Sure, he had his fair share of experiences with men when he was younger, which took a long time for Dean to ever admit to himself. However, those guys seemed to be ashamed of Dean or having to introduce Dean as a friend rather than someone they were dating at the time. It was way before his father had taken him out and made him hunt. Oh, but when his dad found out about these "sorts of things" his older son was into - he was sure to get that knuckle sandwich again. After that, Dean was just incredibly hesitant to ever go out with another man. Until he met Cas.
Cas had always comforted him. Always was there for him whenever Dean would call out for him, quite literally. Cas really made him step out of his boundaries and try things he never thought he would like, like staying home and cuddling for once. The intimacy Dean had craved was never as strong as he currently felt now, with Cas. When Cas left his room, he just wanted to have those broad arms to envelop him and hold him tight, to not have those arms ever let him go. He didn't just want the sex and flirting from Castiel, he wanted to be cared for and to be held by Castiel. He wanted to be opposite of what his father taught him for once, to be submissive and dominated. And he knew that Cas was the right one to do that. He knows he could take the reigns and be his superior even with doing most of it as awkwardly as he does most things.

Castiel didn't want Dean to feel uncomfortable. Although he cannot read minds anymore, he can still read body language. He knew just how much Dean wanted him, but he could tell just as much that Dean was not all there. He wanted Dean to have his own confidence without the use of the "liquid courage", as most humans call it. He wanted to catch every real reaction and wanted to make sure that Dean felt every moment of it and made sure to know that Cas was the basis of that pleasure.
