Chapter 5: Flower scouts and Wood scouts?

Y/n's POV:

It's been 3 weeks since I joined them, I seem to be getting along with everyone here and they seem happy for me being here. Oh! Nerris ankle healed up so she back to her patrolling job with Nikki and Neil, I didn't mind I was only a replacement until Nerris got better after all. So, I been doing other jobs mostly writing how much supplies and ammos we have left and going on scavenging petrol into the nearby town with Max and the others (Harrison and Ered) but for today I'm helping Nurf fix part of the barb wire fence near the lake.

When we were fixing the fence I just notice that the fence doesn't just surround camp Campbell it also surrounds something else over the lake. I asked Nurf about it he said. "It surrounds two other camps, the Flower scouts and the Wood scouts."

"Hm, how long did it actually take to build this fence?" I asked now wondering. "About a year, the Wood scouts has heaps of these kind of things so we all pitch in together to build it around us. We all use to be enemies but since the world is like this now we all decide to put aside the feud and work together." Nurf explained while he finishes the fence. We packed the tools up in the red toolbox and set to walking back to the Mess hall. "So, do they come here a lot?" I asked as we are walking near the docks.

"Not really, they only come here to trade or speak to Max. Why?" He asked me. "Coz I think there coming now." I pointed out to the lake. Nurf follows my pointed finger out towards the lake and sees two boats in the distance coming towards the docks. Nurf told me to wait here while he went to get Max from the Mess hall.

A minute has passed or so, Nurf returns with Max beside him by the time they got here the boats arrived at the dock. Once the people tied their boat up they all head towards us, me guessing that the Wood scout were a boy only camp and as the same for the Flower scout only that it's all girls, 3 males and 3 females came. (Author: I'm not going to bother to explain what they all look like cuz we all know what they look like and I'm lazy if you don't then use google that's why it's there, I'll just say that they are wearing their same camp uniform just a bit teared up, ok? Bye!)

"Greeting's Max." The ginger wood scout greeted Max. What is up with his face?

"What do you want Pikeman?" Max asks the ginger wood scout now known as Pikeman.

"Always getting straight to the point aren't ya Max? Anyways, we're all here to trade stuff." Pikeman said.

"I thought that was next week?" Max said crossing his arms out of habit.

"Change of plans. Anyways, we need your toolbox." He said.

"Don't you guys have one?" Max replied.

"An event happen that made us loose our toolbox in the progress... So, what do you want in return?" Pikeman said speaking like a business man. Max thought for a while till he finally speaks.

"Well, we are running low on ammo with some of our guns."

"Alright, just give me the list of guns needing ammo and I'll deliver them tomorrow." Pikeman said.

"Alright, think you can give him a list Y/n?" Max said turning his face to me. When Max said my name, it caught the attention of the two scouts, they stand there staring at me. I nodded my head to Max signalling a yes to him.

"Oh my! Max, who is this beautiful woman?!" Pikeman exclaims a little out of excitement. I just crossed my arms out of habit staring at the fuckboy.

"This is Y/n, a new member to our family. Now, I wouldn't go all lovey dovely on her." Max warn them but mostly Pikeman. But he didn't listen.

"Why hello there, I'm Edward but you can call me Pikeman." Pikeman bow and attempted to grab my hand and place a kiss on it but I kicked him where it really hurts for males and he fell to the dirt ground with a loud thud while he holds his junk in pain.
