Detention

"Sirius! Sirius slow down!" Remus shouted 'by Godric griffindor will he just stop' "Sirius stop!"

Sirius stopped an annoyed look on his face, "What do you want Lupin?" He snarled. Remus flinched at the use of his surname and stammered out a reply.

"N—n—noth—nothing. Never—never mind. Ju-just for-forget it." Sirius immediately felt guilty for snapping at Remus.

"Re-Remmie I-I'm s-so sorry. I-I wasn't thinking and I-I'm just up-upset and Snape and he-he he has no right and and you you you know we well um we don't believe a-any-anything Sniv-Snivellus sa—"

"Sirius, calm down," Remus said with a chuckle, "your rambling and everyone knows Severus was just trying to pick a fight, which he succeeded in. Let's let's just get to detention we don't want Minnie to make us stay even longer."

"Okay, let's go," Sirius said, letting out a breath he didn't know he was holding in.

The walk to Professor McGonagall was the most awkward experience either had ever been in. When they finally arrived Sirius opened the door and Remus walked in, Sirius not far behind. The door closed and locked.

"Where's ol' Minnie?" Sirius asked and Remus nodded his head towards the wall which had a note sticked on it.

Sirius walked up to the note and, in an annoying voice trying to sound like there professor, read it aloud. "Mr. Black, Mr. Lupin I unfortunately couldn't be here to supervise your detention because of a meeting I had with the headmaster. Now while I would under normal circumstances get Mr. Filtch to supervise I think it would be wise not to so I have cast charms around the room which have done the following:
1)taken your wands away and transported them to me," Remus and Sirius checked there pockets, and as said there wands had disappeared. "And 2) locked all the doors and windows so there is no way out. Now the rest of detention you will spend finishing your class work and once finished you may do anything you want, within reason of course, but I would prefer if you two would just figure out whatever is going on between you two. I'll let you out at the end of detention but until then goodbye." Sirius finished reading.

"Great so we're stuck here for 6 hours." Remus did as he took a seat in the middle of the first row.

Sirius took a seat behind him and they both got to work, but what they didn't know was that an overly invested teacher was lurking in the shadows of the room, watching them in her animagus form.

'This is wrong. I can't do this no matter how badly I want this. Minerva this is wrong! But I want them together and they want to be together come on I see it whenever they look at each other! Oh but look at how cute they look! No albus will fire me if he finds out what I'm doing. Then I guess he can't find out. Plus it's too late to do anything now. Oh I'm so fired by the end of the week!' McGonagal thought

They finished there work within 10 minutes.

"Rem I'm finished how 'bout you?" Sirius asked.

The truth was, Remus had finished, the problem was that Remus really didn't want to talk to him because he knew Sirius would ask about potions and to be perfectly honest Remus has no clue why he smelt dog fur so he did the only smart thing he could think of.

"No." He bluntly lied.

"Oh. Well do you want any help?" Sirius asked

"I'm good" Remus answered.

'Maybe I'm wrong' McGonagall thought.

The deathly silence carried on for a good 5 minutes.

'I should write something so that Sirius doesn't catch on to my lie.' Remus thought as he took out another piece of parchment.
