**Ace's Pov.**
Its been three days since Embry went missing.
I haven't given up hope.
I know he's going through a lot.
I just wish he had talked to me before he went off.
Did he actually run away from here?
He never said he was unhappy living here..
I didn't know what I needed to do.
Part of me wanted to find him, the other part told me to just wait.
That he'd return to me.
And when he does.
We're going to have a very long talk.
I walked out of my study, feeling even more exhausted than before.
No one was really showing any signs of worry or dread.
I was frustrated by it.
I looked around, until I spotted my most trusted driver.
Derek.
I had no right to suspect he was lying to me.
He's been by my side since day one.
What would he gain by lying to me?
I was getting more irritated just thinking about it.
"Derek." I called out to the black haired man, who turned faster than lightning.
That's a first.
"Sir?" He questioned.
I frowned.
"I need a drink, take me to a bar." I ordered him.
I saw something spark in his eyes.
"You have your own bar, in your basement sir.." He pointed out.
I glared at him now.
"And what is your point, Derek? I just gave you a direct order, follow it." I snapped now.
Derek flinched at my tone but nodded.
"Of course sir, I'll get the car ready." He said walking off.
I frowned deeply as he vanished.
What the hell was that?
I want to go to a bar, why do I need to go to my own?
Grabbing my jacket, I put it on then stepped outside as the clouds grew dark.
"Ah, maybe that's why Derek was putting off taking me. A storm is coming." I said as I walked down the stairs.
God Embry, where the hell are you?
Somewhere safe I hope.
**Embry's pov.**
I let out a sharp pained scream as the belt connected to my back, once again.
Harder each time as I remained tied to the wall.
I heard a dark chuckle escape from Trip as he brought it down harder.
"I'm surprised you haven't fell over dead yet." He stated as he continued to bring the belt down, across my bruised and bleeding back.
He's been like this since this morning.
He had an argument with Nash, and he's taking it out on me.
My back was hurting.
My entire body was killing me.
I haven't been able to get a wink of sleep, since I've been here.
I was too scared to sleep.
And this was a major reason on why.
"Trip, Nash wants to speak to you." I recognized that voice.
Bray Melton stood there, looking like a frightened chihuahua.
Trip groaned before bringing the belt down harder, as I let out a surprised scream.
Tears fell from my eyes as my entire body trembled with pain.
"Stay here and watch him, I'll be back." He demanded as he threw the belt down then stormed out of the room.
I looked at Bray who was frowning deeply, he walked over to the door Trip walked out of then locked it.
My brows furrowed as my entire body tried to collapse.
"He wasn't supposed to go this far." Bray hissed as he walked into the cage with me.
Fear raced through me as he pulled his shirt off.
"S-Stay back." I growled as I wheezed through each breath.
Bray rolled his blue eyes as he dabbed the shirt on my back.
Pain electrified through my back as I let out a cry.
"I'm sorry." He said as he tried to ease the dabs he pressed against the wounds.
"Why are...you doing this?" I asked him, my voice raspy from the screaming.
Bray frowned now.
"Because, I'm not like them. I put on a tough guy act, just so they won't beat the shit out of me.. but this, this is taking it to far. Trip went too far." He said.
Standing up, he looked to me.
"I'm going to get a bowl of water, so I can do a better job at cleaning those wounds." He told me.
He told me, he walked out of the cage then out of the room completely.
I rested there, my heart pounding against my chest.
Where was Ace?
Its been three days..
When Bray returned with the water, he looked scared by something but ignored it when his attention fell on me.
"I want to help get you out of here." He told me as he dipped his shirt in the water, before pressing it to my back.
"You'll get yourself killed." I told him, trying to relax with him dabbing and gently rubbing the shirt against my back.
"In all honesty? I really don't care at this point, we were supposed to be high school students.. not murderers.. I want you to know, I wasn't there that night." He frowned as he rung the water and blood out into the bowl.
I looked at him with furrowed brows.
"I wasn't there when they did that to Brett.. I took my punishment through Nash, even after being scolded for being a disappointment. I didn't sign up to kill people, I just followed Luke and Tucker because they were devoted to Trip.." He frowned softly now.
"And when I found out, their plans on kidnapping you. I was hoping you could outsmart them, like you always did in high school.. but when you arrived, kicking and screaming. All I could do was fear for your life." He told me.
I frowned softly.
"You had the choice to leave... their group Bray, you could have made different friends." I told him as he frowned down at me.
"Its not as easy as it sounds Embry, once you involve yourself with Trip and those guys.. there's no real way out, you try to leave and you get the shit beat out of you." He said.
His eyes falling on the door that lead out of this place.
"I'm going to try to get you out of here, it may take some time.. but it will only work, if Nash and Trip are both away. I also need Ace's number, so he knows where to find you." He told me.
I felt my heart race at the mention of Ace's name.
