Who would've thought, the summer after graduation, I would be sitting, at my own house, thinking about my boyfriend, Ryan Upchurch. Ever since that day, things have gotten so much better. Being with him puts me in a subtle mood, like life isn't just heartbreak and pain. It's more than happiness, it's calm, peaceful if you look at it in a way. Life is just better when you have such a relaxed, but energetic soul around you. It puts life in a whole different perspective.
As I smell the fresh, but warm summer air, I swung back and forth on my porch swing. To be alone with my thoughts, that are clearer then ever before, I was smiling. How can life all the sudden become so clear because one person came into your life that explains to you his thoughts, that make you think. I used to be addicted to social media, but now, I've opened my eyes to see a clearer earth. To see the beautiful country we live in, to see all it's glory.
My thoughts were interrupted by a car pulling in to my drive way, it was Megan. If I haven't explained, that me and her live together, problem solved.
"Hey, where were you last night? I had to feed the animals for you. Is this like pay back?" She asked staring at me with a worried look.
"Long story short got drunk and.." she cut me off.
"Yeah yeah I know you got drunk with a guy but where did you go after that?" She sat down on the chair in front of me and I felt like I was getting interrogated.
"He took me to his house, let me sleep alone actually. But, that morning, stuff happened and one thing led to another and we......had sex." I barely got that out, I was so nervous.
"Wait you actually took my advice about getting back into the dating game?" She started to laugh. "Didn't have to make the guy 'take a drunk girl home', if you catch my drift"
"You know what I didn't intend on that. I Just went for a couple drinks and I guess i got carried away." I said blushing.
" Your in love!" She yelled.
"No I'm not" I argued, but then a smile popped out.
