I quickly got down from the cab and headed towards the boarding. Even from a distance, I could see Paul, our boss and a few others who has come to see us off. I hurried over to join them.
"Where were you? What took you so long? We almost missed our flight because of you today", Paul fired off his questions without pausing. I, however had to pause to catch my breath. "I'll explain later", I said. We got through the security checking, said our customary farewell to our colleagues and headed off to board the plane.
Thankfully, I got window seat. I hate sitting in the middle. Paul was right beside me, taking out his neck pillow. "So BTS huh? You will be seeing them in a few hours. Excited?" "I don't know, Paul.. all of this seems like a beautiful dream and I am afraid at some point I will have to wake up and all of this will get snatched away from me", I confessed. He put his hand over mine and pressing it gently replied, "Hey, this is not a dream. I am here. You are here. And we are going to see your favourite band, okay?" I managed to smile but on the inside I was overcome with emotions.
After that Paul slowly drifted off to sleep. I took out my headphones, put on my bts playlist and took out the questionnaire I had prepared for our interview.
I did not realise how time passed by but after 7 hours of flying, we finally landed on Korean soil.
