It started with her

Jakes POV

Briar started in year 9, she was tall, pale, brown hair and green eyes. She walked in late, it looked like she had rushed to class, her hair was all over the place, it was lashing rain so it made sense. She sat behind me in the back row, then the look of absolute fear fell upon her face as the teacher called her. "Briar, so where are you from" she mutter that she was from brighton, the teacher made her repeat what she said at least five time before we all heard her. "Oh very nice."

She continued with the lesson boring everyone with her maths facts and equations. An hour past an the Bell rang everyone rushed to go to lunch. 10:50, the best time of the day, their was only three good parts of the day, our two lunch breaks and home time. I saw Briar get her lunch and sit down at a table on her own, I wonder why she didn't sit with anyone.

Penny's POV

I saw the new girl from our maths class sitting on her own, to be honest I felt bad for her, moving here to a new school, new house, new town, new everything. I decided to sit with her, if she wasn't gonna introduce herself to anyone especially me, I was gonna introduce myself to her

"Hiya I'm penny, we are in the same maths class, room.."
"13, I know, you where sitting in the row in front of me."

She seemed stand offish
"How bout this I'll show ye around, we could be friends?"

Her face lit up slightly when I had said friends, she nodded and that was the beginning of our friendship

Briar's POV

Penny was very nice, she was also extremely pretty, she was tall blonde and blue eyed, she looked like a picture perfect model

"So where are you from again" she asked me this hesitatingly I think she thought I was gonna snap at her I quietly answered her
"Brighton alongside the pier"
"That's amazing, I'm sure it was nice there"
"yeah it was, I miss it a lot.."
I looked down at the table.
The bell rang it was time for another lesson
"Goddamnit" I thought as I stood up to walk to my locker to look at was my next lesson. Penny walked with me to my Locker and hers the right right across from each other. it was nice to have someone who I knew near.
