Jakes POV

"W-why do you want me to stay"

Her response was her lips touching mine, her kiss made me light up inside.

"Jake?"
"Yeah Briar"
"I like you"
"What?"
"Like I like you in a romantic way."
"Really?"
"Yeah"
"I like you too Briar.."

After I said them words, she kissed me again and I kissed her too, it felt like the world had stopped and it as just the two of us together and no one else, that moment was magical..

"Briar will you be my... "

There was a knock at the door and that feeling had vanished.

"Hold on, I'm sorry Jake give me two seconds."

Elijah's POV

"Briar where is he!?."
"What are you doing here get the fuck away from my house!"

I knew she wanted me like how I wanted her, the only reason she was fighting me was because of him, she was gonna be mine and mine only.

"Where the FUCK is he"
"Elijah who and why are you here again i told you..."

I pushed her out of my way and walked into the sitting room there he was sitting on the sofa

"Dude where the fuck is briar and why are you fucking here, you fucking upset her and you just barge in to her house like you must have serious issues"

As he finished I just lost it, I was angry.. very angry, I ran towards him I threw a punch and that started it.
Punches were thrown, kicks were kicked, blood was shed.

"ELIJAH STOP IT LEAVE HIM ALONE!"

I didn't see her jump in to protect him.
I didn't mean to hurt her.
I didn't do it on purpose.

"AHHHHHH"
"BRIAR!!!"

She was laying on the ground.
I didn't know what to do

" YOU DUMB CUNT, CALL HER AN AMBULANCE OR SOMETHING BEFORE I FUCKING KILL YOU!"

I called her an ambulance, the police came too. They had to question Jake and I about what happened, my parents were called after they found out what happened, I really fucked up.

Briars POV

"All I remember is Elijah stormed in and pushed me I don't remember anything after that"

I had unconscious overnight but I was ok the next day, according to doctors and police that Jake and Elijah got into a fight and I stepped in to protect Jake

" Miss Briar a young man called Jake is here to see you"
"Jake.. send him in"

Jake came into the room, his face was black and blue, he walked over to the bed in the room, I hugged and kissed him.
"Why did you jump in to protect me, you really got hurt.."
"Because Jake I didn't want you to get hurt even more"
"Briar I need to ask you a question and I know this probably the right place to do it.."
"Yes.."
"Will you be my girlfriend"
"Yes!"

I hugged him and kissed him and hugged him even more.
I got discharged that night and Jake brought me home

"Briar about Elijah.."
"What about him"
"He's gonna be in school tomorrow you know that"
"Yeah I know.."
"Ill be there though so everything will be ok!"
"Thanks Jake."
