getting a career

Waking up from my bed I realize  that I'm going to be late for my business meeting to release my newest album "burn". Which is my second album as a rookie working for Akbar entertainment. I start putting on my outfit  when I got a call from my manager. 

"Aika where are you? the meeting is about to start" Says my manager. 

"Sorry Kaito just woke up" I said rubbing my eyes 

"Oh my god Aika this meeting is important and yet you over sleep hurry up and get here" Said Kaito.

"O-okay" I say hanging up the phone 

I rush down stairs and I here a voice calling me but I didn't realize and rushed out of the house. "Great I'm going to be more  late" I mumble to myself as I wait for the bus I hear my best friend calling for me. 

"Aika HEY" Says Miki Honoko 

"Hey, Miki" I say greeting her with a hug

"So, what's going on" She says 

"Well, I'm kinda late for a meeting and  Kaito is really mad about it"  I said smiling at her. 

I wait for at least an hour until the bus arrived. I get on the bus pay my ticket and since there were no seats I had to stand so I grabbed the nearest hand holder and stabilize myself so that I don't fall. As the bus starts moving my hand starts slipping from the arm rest and I start to fall back when all of a sudden I was caught by my waist by a man. He jerks me up so that I'm standing up and holding the arm rest when he spoke to me. 

"Ms would you like my seat and I can stand?" He said gesturing for me to sit

"Okay  thank you sir" I say and give him a kind smile. As we get off the bus I slowly try to take one step at a time but I herd people telling to hurry up so I try my best but loose my footing and slip once again. The same guy caught me from face planting into the cement. 

"Ms you should be really careful" He said helping me get back to my feet. 

"Yeah I guess I'm just that clumsy s-sorry for being such a bother" I say giving him a smile 

"No, not at all" He say giving me a smile 

"I'm so sorry but I have to go thank you again" I say giving him a slight bow and fast walking away. 

I start walking until I reach the place where the meeting is being held 

"Aika your finally here" Says Kaito 

"I'm so sorry that I'm late" I said finding my seat. 

"Oh no worries anyways lets get down to business Aika we want to use your  album in our new film 'Wind of colors' if your  open to it" Said one of the men siting across from me. 

"Yes, of course you guys can" I say smiling at them before signing the papers. 

"Great, now that we got that out of the way we would like to introduce you to one of the actors that will be playing the lead role."
"Come on in Yuki" Said the business guy. 
As he walked in I tried to compose myself. I couldn't believe I was about to meet the lead actor of the hit movie 'Wind of Colors' 
"Hi my name is Yuki furukawa"  He says with his arm extended.  Waiting for me to shake it. 

I start to feel a twist in my stomach and he could tell so he gives me a light smile. 

"H-hi my name is Aika Aiyama nice to meet you"  I say shaking his hand and bowing slightly. 

"And you must be her manager. Nice to meet you" He says shaking Kaito's  hand. 

We sit down and discuss what songs they can and cannot use because some of them are just for my fans eyes to see. They were looking through some covers when Yuki stopped and took a look at my video of my song La Vie En Rose. 

I could tell that they were impressed by the way there faces looked it was a little embarrassing because they actually put it on the projector for all the staff and business people to see. 

Once it was over people were looking at me and they kept asking me questions like  are you even human?, What just happen?, where did you get that voice from?. 

By the end of it I felt tired and exhausted but as I was about to walk out of the room to go home Yuki stopped me in my tracks. 

"Hey, I forgot to ask you for your phone number in case I need to contact you"  He said. And I have this look of a deer in the head lights which, is really dumb. 

"Oh right sorry" I say twisting my hair on my index finger. We trade phone numbers and I start heading home taking the bus because Kaito left me alone.
