And so, the king started to make his last move to create a new being that was completely "Hollow" that had "No mind to think", "No will to break", "No voice to cry from suffering".
the problem was that he couldn't just ask the blacksmiths again because he ordered that the more "important" bugs were moved to much safer than the capital of the city so he had one more option to resort to his wife The pale queen.
He didn't want to say that they were "his" child. The king felt no pity for the creatures no emotional conection he knew that he would fail for the first ones but he didn't care.
The creature would have strong skull above a void black body, they would be able to cast a mixture of Soul and Void spells, even some of them could make variations of the two.
He kept saying to the queen that he wanted the best "son" to give him his kingdom, These were just lies though. he put each and everyone of his offspring to the same "Path of pain" that the five knights were put through.
as expected many of them failed and the ones that made it were thrown back down because they werent "Empty" enough
The cycle kept happening for a while, many of his children were killed but the ones that didn't would be trained by the best guards and fighters of the city, this is were the ones that made it by luck would fail. there were even ones that would fall to the guards but they were perfectly "Hollow" when this happened the queen would fall into a deep depression and would just stay in the nursery room staring at a empty crib with a little melody playing in the background.
