Do you rather

1 1 0

Do you rather have,
Crisp fresh air
Accompanying you
Wherever you go?
Or do you rather have,
The acidic tang of sulphur
Or the smoke filled skies of haze
Following you in every move?

Do you rather have,
A cooling, refreshing and fresh cup of water
When you thirst?
Or do you rather have,
Days-old, polluted and murky liquid
That's supposed to be water,
Just to hydrate?

Do you rather have,
Clean grounds and smell-free lands
To roam about?
Or do you rather have,
A garbage dump swarming with flies
And a sick, fermented smell of trash,
Being your company wherever you go?

Do you rather have,
A clear and easy breathing environment
With plenty of oxygen?
Or do you rather have,
Limited oxygen wherever you go,
Slowly suffocating amongst the smoke and toxic airs?

Plenty of 'Do You Rather's,
And we all know what choice we prefer.
Because who wouldn't want to have
A clean and green earth?
We all know the price to pay
To ensure the habitability
Of our Mother.

So come help support our dying Mother
In all but blood.
This common parent that raised us all,
This common Guardian that made us special .
This common sibling that grew up alongside us,
This common protector that sacrificed greatly,
At the expanse of her health.
Think about what you would rather have,
And join our quest in protecting what's left.
