" How you feeling Annie?" Will asks, walking into the lounge where I'm sat under a couple blankets.
He just got back from work, I got back from that awful play date with Cory a couple hours ago, and I just can't shake the thought of him.
There's something about him that's so intriguing and I think I could be falling for him, even though I know I shouldn't.
"Annie?" He questions, noticing my absence.
" I'm okay" I quickly say, but truth be told I'm not.
The thing with Cory just keeps replaying in my head, like how could I have been so stupid to do that?
" So, Cory wasn't in either, how odd is that" he says, before walking over to the kitchen.
" So odd" I shrug, as I watch him pour himself a glass of orange juice.
" I have something to ask you though" he tells me, walking back into the lounge with a drink, I just nod my head.
" Mr Bell, would it be okay if he stayed here. For a little while, that is, plus tomorrow evening we're going out on that school trip for the weekend. " he tells me, sitting into the sofa opposite.
" yeah, it's your house" I shrug, because quite frankly I shouldn't have a say in what happens here.
" Good, he's coming in around 10 minutes" he tells me before leaning back in his seat.
We wait for around 10 minutes, just talking about his day and how good the rugby team did, before there is a knock on the door, causing Will to jump to his feet.
" That must be him" he says, before running over to the door and opening it to Mr Bell whose holding a bag in one hand and some bed clothes in another.
" Ey up Steve"Will says, making me cringe as he invited Mr Bell into the house.
" Hi Will, thanks again for letting me stay here." He replies, as Will takes his stuff out of his hands and brings it towards the sofa.
" Hi Annie" he smiles at me, before sitting down where Will was sat earlier.
" Hi Mr Bell" I smile.
" How'd you get such a nice gaff" he asks, looking around before Will walks over to my sofa, moves my feet out of the way and sits there.
" Working hard Steve" He says.
" More like your parents were rich" I say, which makes Mr Bell laugh.
" Ah shut up" Will says, lightly hitting my head with his palm.
It's true though, my grandparents are extremely rich, gave money to all their kids but of course my mum decided to blow it as soon as she got it.
It's why I like Will, he's always been sensible and always thinks of the future and assess anything that can or might go wrong and although he doesn't show it all of the time, he definitely is smart.
" How's tutoring with Cory going?" Mr Bell asks me.
" Good, he seems to be getting it" I shrug.
" You two want any tea? Drinks?" Will asks, getting back up from his seat although he pretty much just sat down.
" I'll have a tea thanks" Mr Bell smiles.
" I think I'm good, I'm actually going to go up to my room though Will" I say before standing up.
" You gonna be back down for dinner?" He questions me, as I begin to walk towards the stairs.
" I'll pass for tonight." I say, before walking up the stairs.
" Bye Annie" they both say, before I reach the top of the stairs and walk straight into my bedroom where I shut the door behind me.
This Cory thing is really bothering me way more than it should, and I just don't know why.
