• Jessamine's pov •

"Jess, can you pick me up today? I don't feel like taking bus. Too much kids" Guan wore his famous tooth grins infront of me. "When will you face your fear Guan?" I sighed. True, my little brother has this kind of phobia. He's too scared when there's so many people around him. Guan and I aren't related by blood. We were just adopted siblings.

After the Darlings adopted me, they've adopted Guan from the orphanage house back in Taiwan. Guan is 3 years younger than me. After him being adopted, mama and papa changed his name from Lai GuanLin to Peter Darlings but sure enough, we still call him with his chinese name.

"Don't you love me Jess? I thought I am your lovely little brother?" now he dare to use his handsome face to me. "Do you think I'll be such a fool to fall for your tricks? Damn boy you need to try harder" I smirked. "Yes I'll pick you up but not because of your handsome face, just because I pity you boy" I ruffles his hair.

"Oh god! Not my hair you wicked sister!" that is Guan's weakness. He really didn't like people to touch his hair. Lol.

"Mama! Papa! I'll be going first!" I shouted just to let them know I'll pass to go to the college I am in. "Take care princess!" I heard papa and mama shouted back. "Jess! Don't forget to pick me up after school!" I heard you brother!

"Jess!" someone hugged me from behind. I looked just to see Jennie's biggest smile. "Jen!" well, Jen is my bestfriend ever since we're in middle school. "When did you came back? You didn't even tell me you're going back home from New Zealand" I pull her hair playfully. "I just got back yesterday and just wanna give you some surprise?" She playfully smile her usual smile.

"I miss you bud" I faked cry. She just laugh her butt off. "I just fly away for only 2 weeks and you are this crazy missing me, your best friend. How can I leave you?" Jen rolled her eyes. "That is why you can't leave me" I dragged her to our college's cafeteria. "Brunch?" I asked. "Of course! I'm hungry" she rubbed her flat stomach.

"How's your grandparents?" I asked as soon as we ordered our food and settled down. "They're fine. They are the most sweetest couple ever I've ever seen Jes. When will I be like them?" Jen dreamily said. "Finish your food and go find yourself a man" I make fun. "You're such no fun" she glared. "Still, you love me" both of us eat as fast as we could and go to our class together.

"Gosh! Those girls" Guan rushed into the car. I looked outside the car and didn't feel surprise to see girls from his school were running after him. "Stupid girls" I chuckled before drives away from his school. "You got so many girls after you yet you didn't even have a girlfriend. What are you?" I was so curious with this boy. "Said the one who didn't even get her first kiss yet!" Guan glaring daggers into my left side of face.

"Well, you can't compare me with you. I'm a girl while you're a boy" and why would he wants to know about my first kiss? This boy.

"Don't you have a crush on that certain boy or liking someone. Don't you have feeling called love Jess?" Guan excitedly asked. "Well, for now, I don't feel like I need to be in love with anyone. I just know how to love my family more than anything" I weakly smile.

Channie.

"What's with that smile again Jessamine Darlings. You must be thinking about your big brother aren't you?" Guan guessed right. "I miss him Guan. He's my everything before you guys came into my life" I said truthfully. "Well, I know you're not kidding. Your face said it all Jess. I believe, one day you'll gonna meet him face to face" Guan hugged my left arm.

"I hope so" a simple reply with full of hope.

• Chanyeol's pov •

"You sure you don't want to go to your parents house this Saturday?" Baek asked as soon as he saw me at the kitchen. "What's with this Saturday?" I asked as if I don't even know a thing. "Don't be such a fool Yeol, you know what day is that. Come on man! You intentionally forget this date every year after Chaeyoung left! " Baek rolled his eyes. I just smile at him. He knows he didn't even need an answer that left from my mouth as he knows the right answer to that.

"Help me again this year. You go for my behalf" I tapped his shoulder lightly. "Are you kidding me?! You are their son not me!" Baekhyun held my shoulder. "They lost their son 13 years ago Baek" I spoke before I left him all alone in the kitchen.

As I was walking past the dining room, Suho hyung spotted me but I just ignored him and walked pass him to my room. I live in a house with all of my friends. There are 9 of us in this house. We were friends from kindergarten, middle school, secondary school, high school till now.

• Suho's pov •

"What's with Chanyeol?" I asked as soon as Baekhyun entered the dining room bringing some snacks with him. "I tried to coax him to go back to his parents house this Saturday but like every year, he avoid this date" Baekhyun sighed. "What's with this Saturday?" Lay came in the scene. "Oh come on man! You're easily forget things! It's Chanyeol's birthday and every year, he avoids celebrating his own birthday" Baekhyun sighed heavily.

"You know the reason why he's avoiding it. Every of us knew it" me, Baekhyun and Lay we're all surprised at the sudden respond from Kyungsoo. "Since when did you're here?!" Baekhyun shouted. "Since you came in with these snacks. Am I that invisible to you? Tch" Kyungsoo shooked his head. "Totally" all the three of us said together.

"But he's true after all. Don't waste your time coaxing that young shit to do things he won't do for years" Lay said before he went away. Kyungsoo just shrugged his shoulder and I think I'd do agree with Lay and Kyungsoo this time.
