The seventeenth Chapter: first love. First heart break

Minho's P.O.V.

Minho widely smiles as he sees his parents. "Appa, umma!" He embraces his parents.

"We are here like what you've told us. I can't wait to see Hanna."

Minho remembers the reason why his parents suddenly come. "Appa, umma, I think I can't—"

"Oh Hanna dear!" His father waves a hand as he calls Hanna.

"Omo, you are really here samcheon and imo!!!" Hanna said as she excitedly gives each a hug.

"Samcheon? Imo? Ya, dear, you should call us as umma and appa right now since my son already proposed to you right?" His mother smiles widely as she said it.

Hanna looks at them with confusion. "Proposed? Aniyo!"

"Huh? What happened Minho?" His father looks at him as well as his mother. "Aren't you here because you said you wanted to propose to her?"

Minho sighs secretly. He rubs his forehead and then nods afterwards. "But appa, umma—"

"You haven't proposed yet? Oh my gosh! What have we done? We already spoiled your surprise?" His mother said in shock. "Mianhe guys. Mianhe dear." His mother pats his back.

He smiles. "Gwenchana." He looks at Hanna who at that time is still in shock.

"Why don't you propose right now since we already break the news to Hanna?" His father urges him to do the proposal.

He wanted to back out to rethink about it, but a lot already heard their conversation. "K—Kure." He looks at Hanna. "Mianhe if I only settle for this. I—ughm, the ring... It is in my room, but anyway, Hanna, babe, will you marry me?" He awkwardly smiles to Hanna.

He can see Hanna's tears flowing as she covers her mouth and nods. "Yes of course!" He returns the hug when Hanna hugs her. What have I done?

"Neomu saranghaeyo babe." Hanna whispers it to his ears.

He keeps his tears to fall. "Nado. Nado neomu saranghaeyo Dh—Babe."

Everyone shouts and congratulates them. Everyone is happy for them, but not him.

Dhine's P.O.V.

"Do you know the news already mam Dhine?" Jessie asked her.

She looks at their staff with puzzled eyes. "News? What news?"

"Mr. Choi Minho had just proposed to mam Hanna, that is why his parents are here." Jessie speaks with so much excitement.

Dhine did not register what she heard right away. "M—Mwuh?" Suddenly, her heart sank. "I mean when?"

"Just now mam! It was a cute proposal because mam Hanna was so surprised. Sir Minho actually comes here to propose to her, but then, for some reason, he wasn't able to do it on time. His parents thought he already proposed and so they were so excited to be called as umma and appa by mam Hanna. Hahaha, they spoil sir Minho's surprise so that's what happened, he proceed in proposing to mam since mam already knows."

She just nods all the way. She forces a smile to cover what she really feels inside. "Ahhm, Jessie-ya, I hate to cut this talk, but I have to finish some stuffs. I will just congratulate mam Hanna later."

"Kure mam!"

When she reached her office, she immediately locks it and goes to the comfort room. She can't help herself, but to cry and cry. Why so soon? Why? She can't stop her tears from falling. I must have really loved him that much... Why this soon? I should have prepared myself.
