so it's officially been almost two years since I started writing this story. I'm really sorry to anyone that really wanted me to update. the thing is, I've been going through a shit ton of personal stuff and unfortunately, updating was the last thing on my mind.
I'm far from being out of the terrible mindset that I'm currently in, but I thought that maybe writing some more and reading positive comments could help me a bit.
again, I'm deeply sorry for making all of you wait this long.
so a year late, here's chapter 5.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Phil woke up with a splitting headache.
The kind of headache that you only experience after a night of heavy drinking.
"Ohhhhh" Phil moaned in pain the second he opened his eyes, and reached up to rub his forehead.
As soon as the thought of Dan crossed his mind, Phil sat up and tried to convince himself to stand.
After a thirty second battle with his own body, Phil managed to plant his feet on the floor and push himself into a standing position.
Seconds after being upright, he felt the uncontrollable need to vomit.
The true nauseating feeling of being hungover kicked in, and Phil broke into a full sprint to avoid being sick on the floor.
He made it to the restroom in record time, and collapsed onto his knees in front of the toilet.
********************************
After a good five minutes had passed, Phil reached up and wiped his mouth with his sweater sleeve.He then heard a knock at the door and the voice of Dan.
"Phil? Are you alright in there? I mean I'm used to this happening but you've been silent for like 30 seconds and that scares me."
"Phiiiil?"
"Are you having your first existential crisis in the bathroom?"
Phil managed to look to the door and mumble a quiet "I'm fine", and turn back to the toilet.
Seconds after, he heard the door click and open.
"Oh god Phil, couldn't you have flushed the-"
Dan stopped mid sentence when he realised that Phil was looking up at him with tears in his eyes.
"I mean uh... Let's get you back to bed, yeah?"
Phil nodded, and Dan bent down to grab Phil's arm and help him up.
Dan slowly guided the other man back to his room and into bed.
He left the room, and returned a few minutes later with a glass of ginger ale, a bowl of chicken noodle soup, and some paracetamol.
Dan propped Phil up with some pillows and sat down beside him on the bed.
Phil smiled at Dan as he began feeding him the soup, and making him take the paracetamol.
This was only one of many times that Dan had to baby Phil while he was hungover.
Phil might've been the older of the two, but it was difficult to act it when he couldn't feed himself without being in pain.
////////////////////////////
When the soup had been finished, the ginger ale glass was empty, and the paracetamol had begun to kick in, Dan stood and gathered the dishes.
As he began to walk away, Phil grabbed at dan's shirt.
"Thank you" Phil mumbled, his eyes slowly beginning to droop.
Dan smiled in return, and continued to walk away from a very sleepy Phil.
As Dan exited the room, Phil couldn't help but notice the way Dan had been walking.
Not so much a limp, but more like Dan was in a bit of pain himself. In his...uh... lower regions.
As Phil drifted back to sleep, the thought finally crossed his mind.
What exactly happened last night?
