Lacey's pov

The weeks went by slowly trying to get myself settled back in. The day I woke up Colby looked like had two head when I called him my bestfriend. I feel like I've known each and everyone that lives in the house and I get closer to them every second.

"Morning Lacey" sam said entering my room. Normally Colby wakes me up in such a manor I can't explain it. It makes my day brighter and I feel better by 100%

"Where colby?" I asked becoming slightly amused in finding out where this boy had gone. Sam sat down beside me and twiddled his fingers. "Sam what's going on?" I asked him super confused.

"You and Colby where dating before all this happened. Next thing you know you got into a accident and smashed up your car and landed yourself in urgent care for two days" my mind raced with how hard this is on Colby.

"I feel so bad" I stated placing my hands on my face trying not to show the emotional state I was currently being forced through. I couldn't stop or control what I remember and what I didn't.

I heard the front door open as I sprung out of bed seeing Colby. "COLBS" I screamed running down the stairs jumping onto him. "I'm so sorry, I can't control what I remember but if i could I would choose to remember the lose you must have given me before all this happened."

He didn't say anything he just stood there and stared into my soul. I couldn't help but start to freak out not realizing he was just as beautiful as I thought. He wrapped his arms around my neck and swayed me side to side and rubbed my back.

"Lacey I can't blame what you remember and what you don't. Just know that I truly did love you and I still do. Whenever your ready or however your feeling just know that I'm here for you" as the words fell out of colbys mouth I started crying. I couldn't help but feel bad, I hugged him and didn't let go.
