The story of Aurora Nyx

You may think that William Stryker only had two things going on in the weapon X facility, these being Wolverine and lady deathstrike. But you would be wrong. Not long after Wolverine he discovered Wolverine had two children. These two were twins, who wolverine had had with Kayla Silverfox. The first child was a male. This male had obtained all the powers of wolverine bar one. This one power being healing. The other was a female who didn't appear to have got any powers at all, but later this theory was proven as wrong. When wolverine left with no memory and silverfox was killed there was no one to take care of the children. They had been abandoned. Left all alone. But obviously wolverine's house would have been checked. Someone would have come along wondering what had happened. And it was checked. Stryker checked the site and found the children. He raised them, trained them and hid their past and told them their duty. Then when they were ready, and at the age of thirteen, they also got the treatment of adamantium. It was believed that by this time all their powers would come into play. (Even though physically they looked much younger.) The male was completely ready, he thought he had all the powers of his father and would be able to survive the procedure, while his sister had still shown nothing, and was concerned that she wouldn't make it. But she was still put through the procedure. Just in case.

The procedure was horrible, they endured much pain as needles drilled into their bodies and inserted the adamantium into the body, coating the skeleton of both children. But it wasn't until after the procedure that their true powers became apparent. The female had survived the procedure and endured every moment until when it was finished and it appeared she was dead. Then suddenly the female shot up out of the tank, all wires disconnecting. She was in serious pain. The wounds all over her body were healing and claws slowing making their way out of her fists, as her pain peaked and she was enraged by the pain they had caused her. But then her thoughts were a mixture of sadness and more increasing rage as she spotted her brother, he had died hadn't completed the process, while the female had survived and had suddenly shown all the powers of her father. She had inherited all of the powers, instead of only some. Neither child inherited anything from her mother. But this is mainly because it is the father that passes on the x-gene or mutant gene, not the mother. After her successfulness she became known as Weapon XX and continued her training.

This child then had further training and was used as a spy and assassin. Alongside her father's abilities, Stryker had given her further powers to enhance her own abilities. Including communicating with animals, teleportation, transformation into a wolf and majestic deep blue wings that can appear and disappear at her command, alongside these she had many other powers that she had yet to discover. She was a main subject in William Stryker's program, after he had lost wolverine and lady deathstrike.

But this was not to last. She had gone through many years of training and involvement with many operations, including assassinations and spy work. She had even been able to not feel any emotion or pain, as she knew it would compromise her missions. She had become a success story, an amazing feat. The perfect assassin and spy at only 16 years old. But eventually the program shut down, due to unknown circumstances. She was once again abandoned. Left alone, with nothing but the building that was collapsing around her. Left alone with no idea what had happened or why she had been left. But she had just been told to stay behind and so she did. William Stryker later realised that he should not have left her and tried to return to the ruins. He was going to try and put an end to her or to manipulate her further, if that was possible. He found she was still just where he had left her. She had lived through it all, survived through a year of loneliness, pain and hunger. But as he walked towards the ruins of the building he found that they had company. The X-men had found that a mutant had been alive, but stationary, for a long period of time and they decided to take a look at why. When Stryker realised this he panicked, knowing that she knew everything and therefore he ran forward, gun in hand, loaded with an adamantium bullet. But he then began to relax as he realised Wolverine leading the X-men towards her. He put the gun in his pocket and waited for the girl's reaction.

She stayed still in her position, eyes closed; her long black hair lying flat over her face and on her shoulders. She appeared to be waiting and listening. Wolverine kept creeping forward towards the mysterious figure. While the other X-men stood in wait by the jet. Moments past with nothing happening until Wolverine was centimetres away from the girl, and he reached towards her. It was that moment that she leapt awake, eyes opening suddenly and she shot up, poised ready for attack. Wolverine watched her with interest as they stared at each other. He then began to show his claws and stopped the other X-men from coming any closer. But both the girl and wolverine exchanged looks as she also began to show her claws, and as wolverine stared in astonishment, she disappeared and reappeared behind he a with one kick, she kicked him in the head sending him to the floor. It was then that Stryker decided it was time to get closer and he moved forward, with a grin on his face.

"I see you have met Weapon XX" he said looking down at Wolverine as he began to get up. "Isn't she a beauty? She is just like you but better" This then made wolverine confused.

"What do you mean?" was all he could say as he stood but was again knocked down by weapon XX.

"Oh yes, you can't remember can you." Stryker said his grin widening.

"I don't understand" said wolverine with further confusion.

"She's your daughter, she possesses all your powers, but we have improved her." Stryker then chuckled. "And she is better then you could have ever been and she is an awful lot younger than you, in fact she is still a teenager, but appears to be ten. But I guess you are a lot older than you seem." It was then that Wolverine got up and realised that the girl had stopped beating him down. Stryker also realised this and his smile disappeared. Wolverine turned to the girl, still confused but asked in interest.

"What's your name?" he whispered.

"Weapon XX" she replied in uncertainty. Stryker smiled.

"What's your real name?" he asked a bit more forcefully.

"Nicolette" she said still uncertain.

"Nicolette what?" Wolverine asked in anticipation, his voice rising.

"Nicolette..." she was cut off.

"Nicolette Howlett" Stryker said, finishing her sentence. "Don't you remember James? Oh sorry Logan of course you don't." He chuckled again and nodded at the girl. The girl then woke up from her uncertainty and held wolverines arms behind him and didn't let him move. "And now you will forget once again" With that Stryker took out the gun, and aimed it at wolverines head. The other X-men wanted to come closer but Stryker said he would shoot if they did, and even though it wouldn't kill Wolverine they obeyed. Stryker then loaded the gun and looked at the girl. "I came here to bring you home and make you forget your misery, but now I can get both you and your father in one strike. Oh what a lucky day." He smiled and then shot the gun at Wolverine, but found wolverine had disappeared and had appeared a few feet away. "What are you doing?" Stryker shouted.

"I'm not letting you kill my dad." She replied in anger looking at the floor. But what she didn't realise was that she had travelled back in a straight line and the bullet had continued forward, but it was no longer aimed at wolverine it was shooting straight towards her. But when she had finally realised it was too late she looked up and the bullet shot into her head, she fell to the floor. Wolverine turned as he was released and tears went down his face as he looked over her, thinking she was dead. He then turned to Stryker, claws out and without looking up walked towards him ready to strike but he looked up and Stryker was gone without a trace. Even the other X-men had been oblivious to what had happened. Wolverine shouted for Stryker but nothing happened except a few more of the ruins collapsed.

Wolverine turned to his long lost daughter and scooped her up and watched he wound heal. He smiled and carried her towards the jet. She opened her beautiful grey eyes, and wolverine walked towards the other X-men and onto the jet. The X-men just parted and let him pass and followed in behind him.

As he got onto the jet he laid the girl in a seat and he sat down next to her. She had fallen asleep in his arms, not knowing what was going on, but she was obviously exhausted. He just let her rest and they returned to the Xavier Institute.
