The story of Aurora Nyx Chapter 2

Chapter 2

When Nicolette awoke from being shot in the head she was shocked at first and could barely do anything but was told of her father and told that she was safe at the Xavier Institute and she was well taken care of. Her father, wolverine, taught her all he knew and helped her master her powers and helped her discover her unknown ones. She later took the name of Aurora Nyx, began her new life and stayed with wolverine. She went to classes at the school and fitted in well with the other students and after a while made many friends, despite her father and her extra, unknown, powers. They were happy. Wolverine was happy knowing that he could hold on to a part of his past, even though he couldn't remember it and Nicolette, now known as Aurora or Nyx, was happy in that she knew she was safe and among friends even though she had no idea what had happened. But this happiness didn't last long. They should have realized that sooner or later someone would come to get her, but they didn't think soon enough.

Not long after the events, Logan and Aurora decided to try and figure out their pasts but whenever they tried they felt great pain, no matter who they went to they couldn't remember anything and just felt pain. After a while they decided to give up and decided that the memories must have been lost or locked away inside their heads and they were better left alone. But every time they saw each other they felt a great pain from within and their heads badly hurt until the other was gone and they had stopped thinking about them. Eventually they managed to control or calm down the pain but it was still there and still of an unknown cause.

It has now been two years since she was found and now she fitted in well and was enjoying her life at the institute. She was in combat class and they were in a simulation where a robot was after the class and there area had been destroyed. The students were all running away, while the robot was causing mass destruction and panic, and Logan was standing by, cigar in his mouth and he was watching his class, and daughter, in anticipation and boredom. He knew what the outcome was going to be. His daughter would win. And then as if he had planned it. His daughter stopped running, turned and transformed into a wolf and hid around a corner of a collapsed building. She then lay in wait until the robot passed then she turned into her human form and used her wings, which had appeared on her back, to fly behind the robots head, then she used her claws to slice it off. The simulation then ended and the students began to walk out.

Aurora was walking near the back of the group chatting with her new friends, Wolfy, daughter of Wolfsbane, and swallow, daughter of angel/archangel, and finally her best friend, or now boyfriend, Mitchell, an extraordinary mutant who could grow machinery from his body and control other machinery. This happened to him in a forgotten past. But apparently he was kidnapped as a child and was experimented on, but we don't know if this is true. Mitchell was the about same age as Aurora but she did look younger, because of her slow aging, but he didn't seem to mind, it wasn't that much of a difference and neither of them know their actual ages anyway. He could have just controlled the robot or the simulation but just wanted to see his girl in action and was happily chatting and laughing about it with her.

Everything was going fine and people were happy until a few days later when they went out to a science museum and as they were looking around the exhibits. They had found something very unusual. They walked away from the group to see what it was. It was a small box with strange markings on each side. Mitchell picked it up and it opened revealing a ball that zapped the pair and they disappeared without anyone else in the group realising. Wolverine may have noticed but he decided not to go as he thought museums were boring and he was getting fed up of all the head aches. Plus he thought his daughter would be able to take care of herself, and everyone else.

Aurora and Mitchell reappeared in darkness not knowing where they were. Mitchell generated a torch into his hand and looked into the darkness. They saw nothing.
