I haven't seen this school, so I don't know my way around. I'm gonna count on Chloe for this. Though, I don't know if she even went to that school at all really. It's pretty dark now and I had already texted Chloe my address. Where the fuck is she? I sit in the chair on my porch and decided to take a nap. I fall into my slumber and start to dream.
I was at the junkyard, so was Chloe but she didn't seem to see me there with her. I call for her name, but nothing. It was like I'm invisible. She crouched down at one spot by the junkyard, she starting hyperventilating and started digging with her bare hands, really fast. I tried to walk over to her, but I was frozen in place. After digging a good chunk of the ground out, she fell back from what seems to be hit with some bad odor. She looked over where she dug over.
"R-Rachel?" She cried. "No no, not her." Her cries became louder and louder.
I finally was able to move, I rushed over to her to try and touch her shoulder, but I feel a bright light behind me and I turn around to a train honking its horn, about to run us over.
I wake up, panting until I heard the real horn sound. It was Chloe's beat up truck. I get up and head towards the truck, then I saw no one in the driver's seat. What the hell.
"BOO-YAH!" Chloe scared the shit out of me from behind. "Get it? Boo-yah? Like I'm sort of like some scary punk ghost."
I facepalmed, and shook my head.
"Oh dear god, Chloe." I sigh. "Real funny."
"Sure was," She says, as she roughs up my hair. "Ready to have some fun?"
"Of course," I say, vaguely and walked to her truck and got in. "Now lets hit the fucking road."
"Damn, when did you get so bossy? I love it." She gets in.
"Uh, yeah... Okay. So how are we gonna even get inside?" I ask.
She waved a pair of keys in my face.
"My step-douche is the head of security. We have the keys." She tells me. "Anyways, got any news on that power of yours?"
"I haven't really used it since. I almost forgot about it. The train thing was all over the news." I say.
"Well shit," She mutters.
"I know. I'll figure this thing out later. Now... Let's party," I sit my feet on her dash and put my hands behind my head. She doesn't even care.
She played her radio, which wasn't as obnoxious as Seth's, but it could've been better. I listened to it with her though. I'm not gonna even bop my head while she's just gonna full on sing. I laugh at her a bit, but it was also kinda cute. She glances at me with a goofy smile and pays attention to the road again. We arrive at this fancy school, I assume is Blackwell. It's definitely a private school, unlike the ones I went to. I look around the place and it's pretty big.
"I got expelled from this hellhole," Chloe said. "Me and Ra-... A 'friend' got into a lot of shit."
I look over at her raising an eyebrow to why she had to not say her friend's name, but she wasn't paying attention, but instead heading towards the main doors. I follow her and she had the keys out ready. We head inside and from the looks of it, it was pretty neat... I hate this place. I see a soda machine and tried to see if I had 50 cents on me. I pulled some change out, but Chloe grabbed me by the arm and drug me away.
"No time for soft drinks, dork." She said.
"Pffft 'soft drinks'," I mimic. "And I'm the dork."
"That's what they are, doofus." She tells me.
"No one says 'soft drinks', they call them sodas these days, dipshit." I joke.
