I’m truly sorry for the late update.
Chapter (5)
I was watching T.V with my mom that night when I heard the door ringing.
“Coming!” I shouted.
I looked through the peep hole and I couldn’t breathe.
It was Tyler.
I looked at my outfit; black short shorts and a white tank top. Good.
I looked at my hair; it was in a high ponytail. Good.
I wasn’t wearing any make up so there was no need to check it.
I heard the bell ringing again which made me jump.
I opened the door and the familiar brown-haired boy stood there.
“Hi.” He said.
I couldn’t find my voice so I just stared at him wide-eyed. When I finally found my voice, I narrowed my eyes and said “What are you doing here?”
Tyler pretty much ignores me all the time. He’s always busy texting God who knows who. So for him to appear on my doorstep, that’s something that doesn’t happen every day.
He bit his lip which was the most adorable thing ever. “Err... I just wanted to say that you were amazing at that movie.”
I raised an eyebrow as if waiting for him to continue. I mean, he can just call me and tell me that.
He noticed my annoyance and finally said “Do you wanna go to the park?”
I was internally freaking out. So this is like a date! A date with Tyler Steve! That’s freaking awesome!
“Amanda? Are you okay?” He asked.
“I-I” Great! Now I’m stuttering. Yay me! (Sarcasm) “Sure.”
“Mom! I’m going out!” I shouted from the doorstep.
“Okay sweetie. Be safe!” She said.
I rolled my eyes and then walked away from my doorstep. My mouth hung open when I saw a black motorcycle waiting for us. Before I even knew it, Tyler was on the motorcycle waiting for me.
“You coming?” He asked.
“I didn’t know you have a motorcycle.” I said. I always knew he had a Mini Cooper. Yep, he’s family is super rich.
“Yeah, I got this baby yesterday.” He admitted.
I smiled at him and got on the bike. He handed me a helmet “Just for safety. We’ll be riding fast!”
I didn’t mind motorcycles. I always thought they were fun to ride. Sophia’s older brother had a motorcycle and he’d always give us rides when we were in fifth grade. That was before he left for college last year.
I was right, it was fun! Specially because he was there and there was wind in my hair. That reminds me of a Taylor Swift song. (A/N: All Too Well)
We finally arrived at the familiar park. My mom would always bring me here when I was little to play with Soph and all the little kids whose names I can’t remember.
I immediately went to the swing sets. I’ve always been an expert in swinging as a kid. I even forgot Tyler was there when I saw him standing beside the fence while I was swinging like a six-year old. I raised an eyebrow at him and said “What? You’re too cool to swing?”
