Chapter 5: Jung Ji Hoon

After her housemates saw Da Hee with Ji Hoon, they immediately interrogated her. Knowing she couldn't ignore them, Da Hee gave in and decided to answer their questions.

" Who is he and why did he take you home?" Ye-Eun questioned first. "He's name is Jung Ji Hoon, a classmate, and we had met up at my job and we worked on a project until my shift was over so we walked together." She responded.

" Do you like him?" this time Ji-Won asked. Da Hee was not surprised she had asked and answered. " No, I don't even know much about him."
" Not even a little. Come on have you seen him, he is perfect." She exclaimed wondering how her friend couldn't like such guy. "Why do you even care, it's not like you're the one who has to work with him." Da Hee responded aggressively. " She totally likes him." Ye-Eun added smiling while doing so. " Whatever I'm going to do my work, so try to be quiet."

Quickly making her way to the room, Da Hee began to think of what her friends told her. Does she actually like Ji Hoon, or were her housemates just poking fun at her. She had to admit he was handsome and didn't lack manners, but she also didn't know much about him. Trying to take her mind off the topic, she started to do her work and was fast asleep a couple moments later.

The next day everyone had gathered to say goodbye to Ye-Eun, who was going on a weekend trip with her boyfriend. Ji-Won have her money to buy candles and what not to supposedly enjoy her time. After waving goodbye, everyone went to do their things. Later in the day Eun-Jae, Ji-Won, and Da Hee had decided to study and do their work around the table. Eun- Jae was making them coffee, when Song spoke.

"Ugh, I'm envious. she must be enjoying right now. This and that,everything." Da Hee and Eun-Jae just made a disgusted face, which Ji-Won questioned. "What are those faces for? You seem like you saw some kind of pervert." " Does it show?" Eun-Jae asked. Da Hee let out a giggle while Ji-Won sighed and shook her head. " I've been full of yin energy lately. I can't even study. I get these thoughts because I can't study, or erotic thoughts that are interrupting me. I even had a wet dream last night." Immediately Eun-Jae and Da Hee sighed and interrupted Ji-Won from continuing her dream. However that didn't stop Song and she proceeded to tell her dream. " In my dream, I was--" ,"Seriously stop it." Eun-Jae said annoyed. " I will then. It would have been really interesting."
" I think that's enough about your dream. We don't want to damage Eun-Jae's brain with your impure thoughts." Da Hee spoke.

While Da Hee was speaking, Eun-Jae glanced towards the cupboard and stated at it in curiosity. She turned to Ji-Won and caught her attention. "Song?". "What, do you want to hear? Last night in the dream, I was in the rain--". " No, not that one," She glanced at the cupboard and her two housemates followed. She continued, " the ghost over there... what does it look like?". "Do you wondering if it's male or female, too?" After hearing that Eun-Jae was confused as to why she said 'too'. "Why are you all wondering that. Kang is as well, Yoon and Da Hee too." Eun-Jae turned to look at her roommate in wonder, but Da Hee stared elsewhere. "It seems like everyone has someone in their mind." Eun-Jae stared off into space, but then snapped out of it. "So," She finally spoke." So what?". " Is it a female or male?"

"That is... when talking about ghost, people think of what they see in T.V, but that's not true. Ghost are spiritual mass. It has no facial features." Both Da Hee and Eun-Jae listened carefully and full of interest. They both nodded when Song finished talking. "Not interested in my dream, it's really erotic and interesting." Da Hee stood up and went to her room indicating the conversation was over.

Morning came and Da Hee was preparing to meet Ji Hoon to work on the project. She already had a few ideas, but wanted to get approval first. Before going out Da Hee ate breakfast with Song and Eun-Jae, who were the only ones awake. Then Ye-Eun had arrived, which Song questioned and soon began to tease her. Jin-Myung soon joined them when she saw the boxers is the trash. Slowly she took them out and held them up.

" Why is this here?"

" Is it yours?" Ye-Eun asked. Jin-Myung nodded making everyone stare at her in shock. Da Hee almost choked but quickly recovered. Like always Song was dramatic. "Am I the only one who doesn't have a man?". " Don't worry, I'm single too."Da Hee tried to comfort her. " Single my ass. You have the handsome guy, who walked you home." With nothing to stay in return Da Hee stated quiet and listened to Jin-Myung.

" The landlady gave it to me. She has seen a stranger roaming around. If they see it's only girls living here they might try to do something, so I hung it up somewhere visible."

" But that stranger is there for Kang, so it should be ok." Eun-Jae informed the others. They continued to talk until Ye-Eun began telling Song off. " You were wrong.You said the underwear belonged to Kang.". " When did I say that? I said Kang was lying, but never about the trunks." Ji-Won defended herself. " Whatever." with that Ye-Eun went to her room while the others resumed eating.

Arriving at the cafe where Ji Hoon and her agreed to meet, Da Hee prepared her materials and waited for Ji Hoon. After five minutes, Ji Hoon arrived looking like he had run. " Are you okay? You seem tired." Da Hee asked. " I'm fine I just ran because I got out of my job a bit late and couldn't text you in advance." He explained, worried that she would be mad. However, Da Hee didn't mind since she didn't wait long. "It's ok, I barely arrived a few minutes ago, so now that you are here let's get started." Finally settled in, the two began working. " I was thinking that for our video we could film how young adults like us actually live. We can show how we don't always party and take things lightly. Demonstrate how sometimes things are hard for us. I think my friends can participate too, but only if you agree." Da Hee told Ji Hoon her idea and hoped he agreed with her. " We will have to plan things out and add more things, but I think it's a great idea and I'm willing to try it." Da Hee could only smile and feel proud of herself . She was in her own world celebrating, while Ji Hoon stared at her. He felt himself smile admiring Da Hee and how she made him feel content. He loved to see the sparkle in her eyes when she was happy about her work. Ji Hoon knew he was going to keep making Da Hee smile and be happy.
