Light was coming from the window, projecting itself into Princess Theya's room.
She was sitting on the bed while lightly covering her eyes from that intense "summer sunbeam", with an annoying feeling piercing her crystal.

"Ugh..."
She let's out a frustrated sigh while standing up from the bed, letting her snake-like leg to get on the floor, sliding thowards the door and proceiding in that huge castle hallway, thinking to herself, while holding her chest to suppress that infuriating and empty feeling.

Glancing over the windows on her right, Theya stops, observing her father, king and reppresentative of all the Erystals, relaxing while wandering around the internal plaza of the castle, ready to recieve countless people to celebrate the 1500th year of peace with the human race.

She looked disgusted over that sight.

"Let's just hope this time not too many humans show up..."
She rolls her eyes, looking away from that nausea-filled view, leaving the hallway and forcing a smile on her face.

"Good morning, your highness"
As she opens the door at the end of the path, a human maid happily greets her as usual.

"Oh morning to you too, Marie"
Theya kindly answered, with a sweet smile on her face.
"I won't come back in my room until this evening, please take your time if you plan on giving it a check"

"Oh your highness, that's my job no matter what, thanks for informing me anyway"
"No problem, just don't stress yourself!"
The princess kindly replied while sliding off.

The main hall of the castle was filled up by servants and visitors, attracted by the magnificent look of that golden looking palace.
She ignores everyone, moving thowards the exit, replying eventually "Hi" to someone that reconized her, or an "I'm sorry, but I'm busy right now" to whoever wanted to know the kindest princess of the nation.

After escaping that loud chamber, filled with bipedal humans and snake-legged Erystals, she found herself in the full calm of the ouside world.
Theya really wished that her feelings thowards the world she's living in were that calm..

She starts to move thowards the nearby forest, sneaking past the huge, green trees, gazing around with a neutral expression. Not even nature was enough interesting to look at.

She kept on moving for the next 30 minutes without a destination, reaching a little hill in the middle of the forest, covered in sticks and leaves, making it impossible to see the ground.
The princess delicately started to move on that hiden ground, trying to reach the top of it.

"...?"
Arrived to the top, she felt something violently cracking under her.
"..Ah!!"
She gasps as the floor started to crumble, the sticks keep cracking until the princess can feel herself falling, as she tries to grab the slippery leaves edge, failing.

"Ahh!!--Ow..!"
She fell pretty down that chasm, hitting her back on the landing..making it pretty uncomfortable for her
"Ugh...that's sure some luck.."
Theya says sarcastically while trying to stand up and ignore the pain.
She looks up, as the hole she fell in was still open.
That was a pretty long fall..
She tries to climb up again, but there are not enough solid grips to do so.

"Ugh..I guess I'll wait for someone to find me.."
She sits back again in that hole, lazily looking around, with the only company at her disposal as the light of the sun.
The minutes passes..she was with her arms crossed for lord knows how long, as she started to hum a melody that she always had in mind since she was a little girl.
She never heard it anywhere, she just had it stuck in her head as long as she could remember.

Yet..something weird started to happen when she began to hum that melody.
Something was emerging from the ground Theya was sitting on: a small pedestal with a locked chest sitting on top of it.

As soon as she noticed, she jumped back in surprise, her light golden skin became almost white for a small second..which after it, curiosity strucked her more than that little scare.
The princess stood up, opening the chest easily as the lock was already damaged..revealing some pretty old rolls of paper.
She so starts to read them off, while waiting for someone to notice her missing from the palace for too long.

A little giggle came from Theya, while reading the rolls.

"The Queen of the sun, will be the Queen of power...Interesting..hehe"
