Chapter One

*Your POV*

I was just sitting in the park trying to get away from the bullies. They picked on me for not knowing my dad and playing my favorite game, Mythomahic. I was looking over my cards when this boy who looked about my age,thirteen, came over to me. I was scared because I thought he was going to pick on me. Before I could even think I shouted out "Please don't pick on me." Then he did something unexpected, he laughed. I didn't understand why so I got my stuff and went to run away when I felt something grab my arm. I turned around to see him staring at me when he said" I wasn't laughing at you I was laughing that you actually thought I was going to pick on you." I took me a minute till I finally said" Ok if you didn't come to pic on me then why are you here?" "I came here because I saw you sitting alone playing Mythomagic, and I thought you could use some company." I was taken aback" Y-you play Mythomagic to?" " of course why wouldn't I it's the best game ever! By the why what cards do you have?" He asked. " Wow ok you wanna play a match with me? Oh and if we're going to be best friends I need to know your name." I told him with a smile.

*Nico's POV*

I was taken aback. I didn't think she would want to be friends with me. "Who said we were going to be best friends?" I questioned. " I did." She simply stated. Again I was shocked no one ever wanted to be friends with me. I was just an outcast no matter how hard I tried. "But why would you want to me friends with?" " why wouldn't I! You're really cool and you love Mythomagic of course you're going to be my best friend, and you can't get out of it I've already decided. But like I said if we are best friends I need to know your name." She stated with ( don't tell her I said this) really adorable lopsided grin on her face, and I couldn't help but smile. " I'll tell you if you tell me your name first." She gave me the same adorable grin and stuck out her hand. " Y/n Jackson at your service." I smiled at her and shook her hand " Nico di Angelo, but you can call me your best friend I smiled."
