*3rd Person POV*
Percy tried as calmly as he could do go up to Nico without punching his face in. "Nico, one question." Percy said with his fists clenched. Nico took a shake breath "y-yes Percy." "why are you here, with my LITTLE sister, and holding her hand? Care to explain?"
"W-well you se-"he started but was cut off by Y/n. "You know what screw this whole awkward situation." She said as she grabbed the front of Nico's jacket and smashed their lips together. Nico,while still very shocked, kissed her back snaking his arms around her waist while she wrapped her arms around his neck. This continued for a few seconds until someone(guess who) yelled out "GET SOME NICO!" To which earned him a hard smack from Percy. "That's my sister your talking" Percy practically hissed. Leo(the one who yelled out) just chuckled nervously. "Now Y/n care to explain to me WHY IN TARTARUS WOULD YOU JUST KISS HIM." Y/n just shrugged. "I thought that's what couples did , is there something I'm missing." Boy now he was even more angry. "You're dating since when." Y/n still just shrugged. "For a few weeks. now are you done with your little rant I'm tired and this is my last weekend of summer and I need to be rested for Monotauk. "So if you will excuse us we are going to sleep." "Wait why does he need to sleep in the same bed as you?!" Percy shrieked. This time she sighed on the verge of tears just thinking about it. When suddenly her gaze hardened" you know Percy there is such a thing as nightmares you know." she sharply said. Percy matched her glare and said" What do YOU have to be oh so scared about to where you need someone to sleep in the same bed as you,hmmm. YOU have not been through even half of the stuff I've went through. I had to kill a MINOTAUR when I was 12 when you where 12 you didn't even have a weapon. So tell me Y/n what do you have to cry about?" That was it, that was her breaking point. She ran to her room salty hot tears running down her face as she ran. Before Percy could even realize what he just did Nico had home held up by his shirt collar against a wall. "Percy I never have had to start a fight with you for any reason and have never wanted to, but you listen to me and you listen to me good. What you just said to her was not okay. I'm going to tell you what you missed while you have been gone. Okay." to which Percy quickly nodded. "While you were gone off having adventures in the demigod world you haven't had to face even half of the shit she has. You and Grover were her only friends before me so when you left she had no-one. You don't know how many times I've had to come over her since we were 13 trying to talk her out of suicide. That's right SUICIDE. After you left bullies left and right came at her from the time he was 12. They would say things like 'aww first you lost your daddy and now your brother not even he wanted you' or things like 'hey Y/n eating your problems again I can already see you gained a few pounds since last week'. She would come either home or to me and just sit and cry in a house of insecurity and pity." by now Nico was crying. "So yeah while she hasn't had to face a Minotaur or a hydra or an emposa,but she has had to battle so many personal demons not even you could compare," and when that he let him go and walked off to find Y/n. The room was silent and no-one dared to speak. Percy just sighed and ran a hand through his hair. All he could think was 'man I really screwed up this time.'
