Synopsis of the second book:
Esmerelda Potter and her brother Harry are back for another year at Hogwarts. After a difficult summer for both of them, they hope Hogwarts will put them at ease. However, there are more mysteries lurking around Hogwarts than ever before. Muggle-born students are turning up petrified for no good reason, and there are rumors of a monster roaming around the school grounds. Harry, Esmerelda, and their friends are willing to break a few rules in order to piece the mystery together. Harry and Esmerelda soon realize that only they have the power to defeat this monster, only if they figure out the clues in time.
