4:Zach

it was the next morning.

Grace woke up to yelling. she stayed in bed and listened carefully.

she put the voices together and knew exactly who was yelling at who.

she left her bed and headed to the bathroom.

she had done her business and put on some clothes that Gabbie had gave her.

she came out of her room and went straight to the kitchen.

she was starving and when she entered the kitchen, she saw Jack hit Zach right in the face.

Zach became mad.

he was filled with anger. he's 21. Jack isn't his dad to be telling him what to do.

Zach hated the way he's been treated lately. he's always being treated like he's 5. he's an adult that can do what ever he likes.

but the only reason he's been acting the way he is, is because he misses his ex.

she was the love of his life. he was acting out. he recently found out that she had a kid but that child had died. and that kid was supposed to be his.

he really wanted to reunite with her. he missed her so much.

she was so sweet.

she had cared for Reese and Ryan. Gabbie had loved her. everyone had loved her. but no one loved her as much as Zach did.

he would cry himself to sleep some nights. but when he wasn't crying himself to sleep, he would either drink to get his mind somewhere else or smoke. some nights if he was feeling extra depressed, he would fuck around with some random girls that he would pick up from clubs.

when he just wanted to be 17 again, he would just head to clubs and hook up with random girls.

he wanted to have a girlfriend badly.

and the only girl he wanted was Kielese.

he missed her so much that when he punched Jack and took out his anger  on that one punch, it might have gave Jack a broken nose.

as soon as Zach had done that, he stood there....still, sad, scared, guilty, hurt, and most of all, broken inside.

he was about to run away until Jack grabbed him by his shirt.

"you are going to pay for this, Herron." after Jack said that, he punched Zach straight in the jaw.

Zach winced in pain.

he felt extremely broken.

as soon as Jack put Zach back on his feet, Grace had come up to Jack and started to clean Jack's nose.

"thanks, Gracie." Jack had said. she just smiled but then her smile soon faded when she thought about what Gabbie would do to Jack about all of this drama with him and Zach.

while Grace was cleaning Jack up, Zach was searching his bathroom for something he didn't know he would be looking for.

he thought he was done with it but apparently, he wasn't.

he kept looking and looking but he couldn't find it.

sooner or later, he just gave up and locked himself in the bathroom.

he slid down his bathroom door.

he just cried. he needed to talk to someone.

but he couldn't find that little slip of paper that he put in his bathroom.

he felt the need to punch a wall so, that's what he did.

he felt his whole heart shatter because he couldn't stop thinking about his love.

after about an hour of crying and screaming at himself in the mirror, he gave up and called Gabbie.

she was a very good listener and he needed to talk to someone.

so he called her.

"hello?" Gabbie was confused on why Zach was calling her.

"can w-we please talk r-right now?" he had managed to stutter out while tears kept slipping from his eyes.

"oh god. what happened?" the young girl was curious but worried at the same time.

"meet m-me at the V-Venice beach. i r-really n-need someone t-to talk to." he had sobbed into the phone.

"be there in 5." Gabbie had told her crying friend.

Zach washed his face with cold water, ran downstairs, put his shoes on, grabbed his keys and ran to his car.

he got to the beach within 8 minutes. he did break a few laws but he really messed up with the whole Jack situation. he felt bad that he took it out on Jack-his best friend since like 15 years old-who has been there for him.

once Zach saw Gabbie he sprinted towards her.

Gabbie had taken one look at Zach and froze.

his eyes were puffy and red. his cheeks were covered in his salty tears.

"oh god what happened, Zachy?" Gabbie had asked her broken looking friend.

"let me start f-from the beginning." he some how said.

Gabbie just nodded as they walked in the water to the rocks so they can sit on them.

he inhaled and exhaled and tried to keep a steady breathing pattern before he started.

"remember Kielese?" he had asked as she nodded her head unsure of what will hit her next.

"she had a miscarriage and i recently found out. i miss her a lot. she means the world to me." he explained.

he kept on explaining every detail about their relationship as Gabbie had many face expressions.

she honestly felt sorry for him. she herself missed Kielese a lot.

she wanted to reunite with her and have fun again.

the 'Jack situation' also slipped out of Zach's mouth as he regretted as soon as he saw Gabbie's face expression. Gabbie was furious that they fought again. 

she hated it but it became normal between the two boys that are very close to each other.

she some how convinced Zach to tell Jack everything.

soon, everything would come back to normal, Gabbie had thought.

but maybe, it was a mistake to tell Jack.

who knows?
