River

Waking up I notice I wasn't at the Boulder anymore, in fact I was in a Pitch black cave similar to the one I saw earlier.

What the Hell....

River: "ETHAN! SMILEY! YOU GUYS THERE??" I yelled, my voice bouncing on the cave walls.

I must of fell asleep

I shuffle for my satchel, taking out the carton of matches then lighting it, coming face to face with a Red Dragon and his now lit cigar sitting between his lips.

River: "AHHHHHH" I fell back into the dark ground.

Dragon: "Thanks for the lite" The Dragon's voice speaks deeply to me.

River: "Uh, no problem" I re-lit another match to find him gone

I shuffled my feet, walking towards the light opening in the cave continuing the journey despite the strange Dragon's appearance.

After hours of climbing my forhead dripped with sweat, I find another boulder similar to the one before and plop down exhausted. My stomach growling loudly.

Boy am I hungry

After my short break in the rock, I soon begin walking again through what looks like a forrest in this mysterious valley continuing the search for my brothers.

A green bug, about the size of a seed bounces highly appears from the small forrest trail stopping towards me.

Bug "Heya stranger my name's Ted what's yers" The bug says.

River: "River Bone, nice to meet ya" I answered. It wasn't all that strange compared to the Dragon.

Ted: "Wow yer quite big stranger and pretty" The bug bounces back and forth.

I couldn't help but laugh.

River: "Haha you kind of look like a leaf a little bit" I joked with Ted but he didn't seem amused.

Ted: "Hey that's very insulting I'm gonna call my big brother"

Within seconds a giant bug, bigger then me that looks the same as ted appears from the trees and looks at me menacingly. I gulped a little startled by the bugs appearance.

Teds brother: "Is ya pickin' on my little brother ted, we don't need trouble makers like you in our valley little girl" he said sternly.

River: "Oh I'm sorry Ted I didn't mean to sound insulting" I said sounding apologetic.

Ted: "It's ok River you don't has to hit her if ya don't want to big brother" He nods to his brother, but still keeps his eye one me.

Teds brother: "Okays if you say so ted'

Teds brother: "Wat brings ya' here anyways stranger"

River: "I'm looking for my brothers so we can head back to our Home Village Bonneville"

Ted's brother: "Bonneville I've neva heard of it" he shakes his head.

River: "It's pretty far away from here" I said.

Teds brother: "Well ya better find it quick winters coming soon"

With that he walks straight from where he came, not saying another word.

Ted: "Sorry bout' my brother he's nice once ya get to know him" Ted bounces next to me again.

Ted: "Wells about now we gotta figger out what to do wit ya, OH! I know how's about I take ya to Thorn" Ted bounced up and down

Thorn She seems as beautiful as her name sounds I mean what??

River: "So Who's this Thorn Individual?" I asked curiosly.

Ted: "Oh she's this beautiful girl who lives in Barrelhaven and she's very smart she knows about every th' in the worl' " he answers.

River: "She sounds interesting, can she help me find my brothers?"

Ted: "Ya of course like I said she's very smart but remember what big brother said if you wants ta' go home better do it before winter hits quick"

River: "Don't worry I'm just gonna find my brothers then I'm outta here"I say. Not that this adventure hasn't been amazing or anything but Bonneville is the only home me Ethan & Smiley has ever known.

Ted began bouncing off the trail so I soon go-to follow him catch up, as we walk through the green forrest.

River: "Do you know where we can get something to drink?" I asked thirsty.

Ted: "We can stop by th' Barrelhaven Tavern they brews th' best stuff around" Ted says.

River: "Sounds like a plan" I smiled weakly.

Nearby a bush 2 rat creatures are posted up by

Rat Creature 1: "Comrad! We're about to have a feast get your fat carcass up and get ready Behind the bush" The gray creature yells at his partner.

River: "I'm sure I'll eventual--" I was interrupted by two big creatures popping seemly out of a nearby bush staring at me intensely.

Rat Creature 1: "Hello tall human can you get in this bush for a minute so I can show you something?" He smiles flashing it's sharp teeth.

River: "Can you show me out here where I've got running space" I replied sarcastically to the creature.

Rat Creature 1: "No! No! Please your friend the dragon isn't around is he?"

Ted: "Your on yer own River!" Ted Bounces away quick leaving me to face the creature.

River: "Hey Ted where you going!" I yelled after him but he was long gone.

Rat Creature 1: "Comrad start cooking the fire!"

Rat Creature 2: "No! You called me fat!

River: "TED WAIT FOR ME!"

As I go to run the rat creature grabs me into the bush

Rat Creature 1: "Well well look who decided to join us....Comrad start cookin the fire!"

Rat Creature 2: "No you Called me Fat!" He snarks replying.

He stood sternly straight with his arms folded and his nose stuck up.

Rat Creature 1: "NO! WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO!" The gray creature shouted.

Rat Creature 2: "No, and it wasn't the first time either"

The Rat Creature face palms himself annoyed by his stubborn partner.

Rat Creature 1: "Look I'm sorry Comrad I wasn't thinking I was trying to catch dinner THIS ISN'T THE TIME!" He raises his voice.

Rat Creature 2: "Nope too late"

I take this as an opportunity to quickly escape from their grasp and heading straight to the woods.

I quickly found the trail me and Ted walked earlier and walked along it.

River: "TED! You out there!" I yell out to him getting no response back.

See a tree that looks like a suitable rest stop so I sit again it and check the map

Thee good news is that things couldn't possibly get any worse

Then a large plow of snow falls, covering the entire forrest. The air becoming thick and rigid.
