Chapter 1

"Man I sure can't wait to see everybody Pervy Sage, it's been two long years!" Chriped a boy with ruffled, blonde hair, and bright ocean blue eyes.

"Yeah, well, when we reach the village we have to go meet Tsunade to report to her." An older man with long, grey, ruffled hair replied tiredly.

"But—" the boy was interrupted before he could finish to his annoyance.

"No buts, it will only be a short report after all, so you'll have to deal with it. You can see all you noisy friends later, specifically when I'm not around." Jiraiya replied, despite his harsh words his smirk was leaking out at the side of his lips.

"Fine." Naruto pouted, crossing his arms in defeat while looking away from the older man.

"Oi, Ino! I heard Naruto is returning to the village today! Want to go see if he's here yet?" Sakura asked to the girl in front of her.

"Sure, since my mother is watering the flowers I have a bit of free time at the moment." Ino smiled, exiting the shop she joined the pinkish haired girl outside and the both of them started headed towards the entrance of Konoha.

"You know we should go find Hinata as well, since she always had some sort of facination with Naruto and all." Into pointed out with a grin.

"Can't, she's busy at the moment since Kiba, Shino, and her are on a quick mission to check around the forest," Sakura hummed while continuing to look forward in search of their boisterous friend.

She wondered if he would be coming home soon, she hated to admit it, but somewhere deep inside her actually missed the noisy, and difficult teammate if hers.

Entering the gates Naruto looked around in awe at how little had changed from the years he had been gone in hopes to becoming stronger with his master.

"The village hasn't changed a bit from when I last saw it!" Naruto chuckled happily. It didn't take long for Naruto and Jiraiya to check in with the guards, who looked like they were going to die of boredom, at least I til they saw the two of them.

Looking up ahead Sakura saw two men enter the village. One had blonde, ruffled hair with an orange and black jumpsuit, and an old man with long, grey ruffled hair accompanied the younger man.

Sakura stared at the one with blonde messy hair. Is that Naruto?! He's gotten so handsome, and tall! Sakura blushed at the thought. Even though she said it, her feelings for Sasuke would never change, and it would always be that way.

"Come on Ino they're here, they haven't noticed us yet so let's surprise them!" Sakura said to the blonde while already starting to race up ahead.

Heading towards Tsunade office Naruto heard his name being called out. "Naruto!" The voice called out again. Squinting his eyes he saw a girl with short pink hair with a red outfit and a girl with a white blonde with a purple outfit race towards him. "Sakura, Ino!" Naruto yelled back. As the two girls reached him finally Naruto noticed Sakura looked a lot more pretty.

"Hey, guys!" Naruto smiled giving a big grin. "Hey, you knucklehead I missed you!" Sakura gave him a soft punch on the shoulder. "Same, where is everybody else?" Naruto asked. "Kiba, Hinata, and Shino are on a mission. Shikamaru Choji and Neji are coming back from a long-term mission today. Mostly everybody is training or on missions." Sakura answered. "Oh, well I have to go report to Grandma Tsunade," Naruto said. "We'll come to catch up," Ino said.
