So I made an oc for the sake of a competition on amino because idk It was fun I guess 🤷‍♂️

Basically the thing you're supposed to do is make a character out of four words that the host of the competition give you to work with.

My words were:
Storm, Loving, Glow, and Stare

At first I didn't really know what to do with these words. They did seem to work well together but I still didn't know what I wanted to with this character but eventually they melted together into a simple concept.

A demigoddess that helped guide her people through disastrous storms and to safety.

Now that I had a general idea I starting sketching up a character and brainstorming a story.

I found the name Noelani online, it's a name that originated from Hawaii, it meant "Heavenly mist" which I think worked perfectly with her character, after all, she is a demi-goddess.

Now to understand this character I feel it is necessary to explain the rules of the her universe.

Gods/Goddesses are immortal. So are Demigods/Goddesses. What's the difference between gods and demigods? Well, you see. Demigods are born as children of gods. But they're not gods, yet, the title and power of a fully fledged god is earned by preforming a grand wondrous deed

Gods have certain areas that they are all-powerful in but demigods however only have a fraction of his power which they are granted to eventually preform this grand wondrous deed. Until they do, they live among regular humans where they try to find their destiny and find that deed that will help them join the heavenly paradise where all the gods live.

Now that I've explained that I'll get onto Noelani

Noelani is the daughter of the god Ekaitza, the goddess of destruction. She knives among the humans but you aren't likely to meet her unless you're truly in danger. In the land where you live storms are common, and often times, extremely dangerous. When people are in danger during these storms Noelani may appear, to guide whoever may need it through the storms to safety. It's hard not to see her, like all Goddesses and Demi-Goddesses she is unfathomably beautiful but she stands out, she doesn't looks like any regular woman, no. Noelani appears regal with long flowing locks of hair and a breezy dress, she's twice the size of any warrior and her skin glows like a soft lantern. Not only her skin though, her eyes shine even brighter, they're unblinking and sort of like a stare. People have speculated about her eyes, some say that Noelani sees everything, everyone in danger, some say she's blind and some say her eyes aren't any different than yours or mine in any way other than the appearance. People who've seen her have told many stories about how she approached them, and suddenly it was like they were engulfed in her gentle, loving aura of protection.

Also my good friend -king-vacuum- drew this thing of a Harry based on my previous chapter and dudes,,, it's so good, I love it- I basically fangirl and die whenever my fellow artist friends draw anything or whenever anyone at all draws Harry and if you combine the two then I'm dead??? Yeah okay.
