One week later
--Jaime's pov--

Eric, Caleb, Zoey, and Lucas bust through the door drunk.

So that's fun.

Me, Jax, Mia, David, Nick, Zander, Brenden, Beck, and Kaiden were all bored and just watching a movie.

And then the four of them burst through the door.

Nick shouts at them.

"You're all lucky our parents aren't home!" Nick yells, our parents all went out.

Jax sighs. "Calm down, Nick. Screaming at them isn't gonna help." Jax says and crosses his arms, Nick rolls his eyes.

"No one asked you, Jax!" Nick said, I shake my head.

"All I'm trying to say is screaming is gonna get you nowhere, you gotta sit them down and have a talk with them. If you scream at them they'll just go out and do it again." Jax explains, Nick grumbles under his breath.

"Shut the hell up!" Nick says, Mia crosses her arms and glares at Nick.

"Nick, you don't have to be so rude. He's just trying to help!" Mia shouts, I nod.

Nick sighs. "Fine, then you do it. I'm going to watch the movie!" Nick says, Jax nods.

Mia looks over at us.

"Do you want me to stay and help?" Mia asks, me and Jax both shake our heads.

"No. Thanks, but it could prepare us for the future." Jax says, Mia nods.

"Okay, well just call me if you need help. Even though I'm very terrible with kids." Mia says and walks away, me and Jax laugh.

Jax grabs my hand and walks into the kitchen, the four of them are sitting at the table.

I sigh and look up at Jax. "You four have some explaining to do." Jax calmly said, I nod.

Eric rolls his eyes. "You're not my parents!" He shouts, I sigh.

"Eric, how could you get drunk?" I ask, Eric shakes his head.

"I'm not drunk, I'm just buzzed!" He says.

"Look, whatever the hell you are- oops you're not supposed to swear at kids right?!" Jax asked, I laugh and nod.

The four of them protest. "We're not kids, we're teens!" Lucas says.

"Well you sure as hell ain't acting like it." Jax says, I look at him.

He swears. "Shit, I forgot we're not supposed to swear!" He shouts, I giggle and push him away.

"Focus, Jax!" I say, he nods and clears his throat.

"So where were the four of you?" Jax asks.

"We don't have to answer to you, you're not our family you're just a piece of scum, and you're gonna be a terrible dad to your kid. Now stop trying to lecture us!" Eric shouts, I gasp.

"Erick!" I shout.

I look up at Jax to see his face blank. "Jax?" I quietly ask.

"I think I'm gonna go." Jax says and runs to the living room.

"Jax!" I shout after him.

I follow him into the living room to see his friends putting on their shoes. "What're you doing, please don't leave!" I shout, Nick looks over at Jax with a confused look.

"I thought you were trying to parent, Mr. Know it all!" Nick teases, I look at him and shake my head.

"What's going on?!" Mia asks, I sigh.

Jax looks over at me for a second before opening the door and leaving.

"What happened?!" Mia asked again, I look over at her with sad eyes.

"Eric said some really mean things to Jax, and then he just left." I say, Nick laughs and Mia smacks him on the back of the head.

"What the hell, Nick. You could clearly tell he was hurt by Eric's words, so why are you laughing when it's not even funny!" Mia shouts, Nick sighs.

"Look, he'll be fine. He's a big boy, when Eric sobers up we'll have him apologize." Nick said, I nod.

"Thank you." I say, Nick nods.

"That's why I'm in charge. it's not that I'm trying to be mean, I just know how to handle stuff like this. And that's also why I'm bossy." Nick says, Mia rolls her eyes.

"That's not why you're bossy. You just like having things your way so stop trying to lie!" Mia shouts.

And then the two of them start bickering.

I roll my eyes and head upstairs.

I try calling Jax but he doesn't answer.

I hope what Eric said doesn't affect Jax.
