Somewhere only we go

Chapter 2

Lucy's p.o.v

"Hello sweetheart" my mum greeted me as I walked into the living room "hey mum" I say while laying down on the sofa with my head on her lap"did you and Shawn have a nice time tonight" she asks me and I sit up and nod "it was really nice actually" I say while smiling "honey we have to tell you something" my father says and I smile "what is it?" I ask them eager to know the news "were moving to Florida" my parents say in unison. It hit me like a bomb,I felt like my heart had been torn in two. "No I'm not leaving shawn he's my ONLY friend and I love him" I stand up and run my fingers through my long brown hair. "Honey it's for the best,your father got a promotion there and it's really good" my mum says putting a hand on my shoulder,I back away and run to my room "she will come round soon" I hear my dad say,but that's not true,I am not moving.

Shawms p.o.v

My phone rings and I look at the caller I.D,it's Lucy

S:hey Luce what's up?

L:shawn

S:Lucy why are you crying what's going on

L:meet me at the swings in 5 minutes?

S:yes of course anything.

She puts the phone down and I change out of my night clothes into a hoodie and my jeans. I run downstairs and put on my vans. I say bye to my mum and walk to the swings where I see Lucy sat on a swing,slowly swaying back and forth with her head Down "Lucy" I shout and she looks up. I walk towards her and pull her into a hug "what's up why were you crying on the phone?" I ask her and her eyes fill with water "I'm moving to Florida shawn" the words hit me like a ton of bricks and I feel broken.the tears stream Down both of our faces and I try my best to wipe hers away "I'll miss you so much" I say to her while wrapping my arms around her waist as she wraps hers around my neck "I'll miss you more" she says and without breaking the hug the conversation goes on "so when are you leaving"

"I don't know,I ran to my room before they could tell me"

"You can stay at mine tonight if you like" I tell her and she buries her head in my chest "Thankyou Shawn,I love you"

"I love you too" I tell my perfect best friend. I stare at her flawless features in admiration. She really is beautiful and amazing and funny and cute and lots more,too many to name I guess. I really will miss going to our place together.

It's somewhere only we go.
