My parents were planning a trip to Six Flags in New England, so it would take roughly an hour to get there. My sister and I were really excited for we had this planned out for a couple weeks now and were looking forward to it.
I looked through my closet and drawers for something to wear, I settled on some swimming trunks that were half mossy green and black with a black muscle tee and some black converse shoes. I grabbed an extra set of clothes to change into as well.
I gave everything to my mom so she could pack it into her bag she was placing everything we were bringing into the park like sunscreen, wallet, our extra clothes, towels, and other things.
Everyone was done changing and packing so we all climbed into my Dad's car, buckled out seatbelts, set up the gps and set out to Six Flags. Cameron my sister, and I played some games with each other in the back while we waited until our arrival. We were playing Flags where we count flags on our side of the street, Cameron had the left side and I had the right. Music from the radio played in the background while we all talked as well, it was really chill and nice to just talk and be with my family.
After about an hour and ten minutes we were at Six Flags, we got out of the car while my mom took out the sunscreen and tanning lotion, I took the tanning lotion wanting to tan faster and keep my caramel-smooth skin.
We walked to the entrance and got in the long line, after handing them our tickets and going through the metal detectors Cameron and I wore wide smiles and wide eyes, exhilarated to be here.
We went on many roller coasters like Batman, The Cyclone, Fireball, The Flashback and many more. We played games too and won some prizes here and there. We were all laughing and having a great time together, we don't spend a lot of time together as a family since my parents work so much, but when we do it brings a mushy feeling to my heart and I can't help but smile. I really love them, I wish we could do things like this more often.

We had tons of fun on the coasters and playing games and we decided it was time to go to the water section now, it was getting hotter as the day went by and we really wanted to swim in some refreshing cold water.
As we got to the beach area where seats were placed everywhere we were all looking out for some empty seats to set up our belongings. We found some seats and set up everything there. My dad and I took off our shirts, shoes and socks off and applied some extra tanning lotion. My mom and sister took off everything since they were wearing bathing suits underneath their clothes, applied some sunscreen and we were all set.
First we went to the pool to cool ourselves down a bit, we stayed in there for a little swimming around and splashing one another. We got out and walked around for some rides to go on. My moms favorite was always the lazy river so we went there first. It was pretty relaxing just floating around in the tube while the current dragged us along the path.
Afterwards we went on some water slides, some where I went by myself and sometimes the tubes were doubled so I went with Cameron too. One was for four people so we all were able to go on it.
After not eating since breakfast and all the water making us even hungrier we went to a shack and ordered two chicken tenders and fries, Cameron and I shared one while my parents shared the other. I grabbed the sweet and sour sauce, my favorite.
After we finished our meals and we're stuffed we sat there just talking to each other until our stomachs settled a little so we could keep going.
When we were all settled and ready, my mom and dad decided to go back to the seats and just tan so they left Cameron and I to do whatever we wanted. Cameron really wanted to go to the wave pool and I kinda did too so we went.
