Fitting In

"Ah!" Icarus jumped slightly at the noise, and made more from his small yell.  The students were too loud to even hear him, which made him sigh in relief.  Icarus looked around, and saw the usual cliques. The peppy girls, the jocks, the nerds, and he would be the outcast. Simple

   Icarus looked around for a teacher, yet none was present. He thought he would ask where he would sit, but he can't do that now.  He scanned the room, and found a seat next to a slender, blonde girl, who stood at around his height. Icarus walked across the classroom and sat in said seat, and placed his bag next to his chair on the floor.

   He glanced at the girl he sat next to, and she had long, curly hair that reached her elbows,  and it had seemed a bit messy, but that simply made it seem more charming for Icarus.  It didn't seem like the girl noticed Icarus yet, but he wasn't surprised, as she was chatting away with the girls sitting at the other side of her.

 Icarus moved his black hair out of his eyes, and opened a book, waiting for class to begin
