Namjoon's POV

"Yes Jin, I know." I mumble into my phone while walking up the stairs to Taehyung's dorm.

"You get that little punk down here right now so I can give him a good lashing!!" My boyfriend yells over the phone. I remove it from my ear, cringing a little at the tone he was using.

"Can you stop? Clearly something's bothering the poor boy and all you wanna do is scowl him for not turning up to school and handing in an assignment? Really Jin?"

The line goes quiet for a few seconds, "...do you think I made the assignment too hard and that's why he's hiding." I roll my eyes.

God, he's such an idiot sometimes.

"I'll speak to you later Jinnie," I mutter yet can't help but laugh at how extra he's being.

"Bye baby!" He yells once again, I remove the phone away before turning it off. Glancing up, I realise I'm right outside Taehyung's dorm.

Alright Namjoon, you've got this.

I pep talk myself. I debate over whether I should knock or not but had the sense that Taehyung might not answer if I do that.

Pushing the handle down, I pull the door back. The room was dull, the curtains were still drawn, blocking out the sunlight.

It smelt awful, like someone had died in here. My eyes instantly fall onto a small lump underneath the covers in the bed, closest to me.

I shuffle quietly towards it, a tad afraid to pull the sheets back incase I don't like what I see. My fingers trace over the soft fabric, grabbing a fist full when a scream came from inside of it.

"Don't!" He squeals causing me to worry, "Tae? What's wrong?"

"I'm hideous...no one wants me!" He cries out making me frown. I take a seat beside him, placing my hand on the small of his back since he was huddled over into a ball, underneath the sheets.

"Tae," I say slowly, sad at the fact he would think so down upon himself. "Why would you think that? You're not hideous at all." I fling my arms around his covered body, hugging him tightly.

"I am!" I could hear his voice crack which breaks my heart more. I sigh, sitting upright before yanking the sheets away from him. He squeals the instant his covers are taken away.

He looked rather pale, his hair was greasy, obviously indicating that he hasn't showered in a few days.

The moment I saw his cheek however, the burning rage in my stomach bubbles up.

I guess he caught onto it since he jumps to his feet, accidentally falling over a bit. "Don't be mad!" He shouts, hugging my waist to hold himself up.

His arms felt skinny around me, I glance down, taking in the fact that he had lost quite a bit of weight. "Taehyung? When did you last eat?"

He stays quiet for a few minutes and I take this time to unravel him from me and place him back down onto the bed since he was practically shaking.

He didn't answer me, instead he gazes away, trying his best to pretend like he didn't hear me. I bite my lip, debating on whether this conversation should be brought up right now or not.
