Chapter 29

My eyes were drooping when we entered the dorms, I was still hanging onto Yoongi's neck, trying what best I could to stay awake.

With heavy steps, Yoongi arrives in front of our door, kicking it open with his foot to reveal a pair of not so happy people.

"You're such an ass! I don't even care anymore!" Jimin was screaming at Jungkook, his face stony and cold which kind of scares me since I've never seen him like this before.

The two notice us coming through the door and suddenly they're expressions go from anger to pained to anger once again.

Yoongi slid me off his back, taking a step over towards the pair, leaving me completely defenceless incase a fight suddenly broke out.

I spot Maya curled up in the corner, obviously frightened by the situation so I run to her, making sure not to frighten the poor girl.

I scoops her up into my arms, petting the small cutie till she is no longer shaking. "Right, what the hell is going on here? You better have not wrecked anything." Yoongi grumbles, staring over at Jungkook when saying that.

The brunette scoffs, "why did you look at me when you said that?" He points out, clearly irritated. Yoongi smirks, "because we all know how you get whenever there's a fight."

"What?" Jimin suddenly questions which makes the full room fall silent. The blonde haired boy turns to his boyfriend, "Jungkook?" He says slowly, "do you get into fights often?"

Jungkook appears rather uncomfortable about the question, sending a glare towards his best friend before answering Jimin. "No, I used to...a long time ago." He murmurs.

Both Jimin and I found ourselves with wide eyes, shocked by the information we were just receiving from the elder.

"Jungkook..." Jimin breaks the silence, speaking rather quietly which made it hard for the rest of us to hear him. My heart was hammering in my chest, the adrenaline from all the arguing suddenly kicking in. "I don't think we should-"

However Jimin wasn't able to finish his sentence since a knock came on the door. I frown, confused as to who the person could possibly be. I glance down at my wristwatch to see it was past visiting hours, so technically no one beside Yoongi and I should be in here.

"Quick Tae, hide Maya," Yoongi hisses under his breath, pointing towards the bathroom. I nod my head, dashing off and locking the door behind.

I hear Yoongi open the door while I sat on the floor with my back pressed against the door, holding Maya close to my chest while I try what best I could to listen in on the conversation in the next room.

"Mr Min, I'll have you know that visitation hours are now finished for the evening. Why is Mr Park and Mr Jeon here?!" A voice barked, I recognised the angered female all too well. It was Miss Ryu, the principal teacher who happens to be in charge of the dormitories.

She was the one who would be carrying out the searches in a few weeks and all I could think in that minute is,

Fuck! We're gonna get caught!

"They were just leaving ma'am," Yoongi grumbles, clearly not enjoying the older woman's company. I could practically hear the woman sneer with disgust, her patience becoming a struggle to tame.

I try to keep Maya hushed so that we don't get caught. The last thing I needed right now was for her to be taken away from me and kept locked up in a kennel.

I just have to hold on a few more days till I find her a new happy home.

"And where might Mr Kim be at this present moment?" Miss Ryu's voice booms causing a sudden rush of panic to raise in the pit of my stomach.

"He's in the shower," Jimin randomly blunts out. I hear Miss Ryu hum, a tinge of amusement yet annoyance radiating from her tone. "I don't hear any water running," she murmurs making a small silence build over the others.

"He just this minute turned it off, he'll be out soon." Yoongi covers, trying to hide any form of the lie from the witchy looking woman.

Once again she hums before speaking, "I suggest Mr Jeon and Mr Park leave now, unless you all want a detention that is?" Mutters of a quick 'no' fills the room.

Shuffling was the only sound I could hear before a door shuts, I wait a moment to be sure everything is in the clear and I'm glad I do so when I hear the voice once again.

"Mr Min, if I catch you breaking any more of the rules, I will have you banned from the dormitories. Do you hear me? This is your last straw." The older woman practically hisses, clearly done with Yoongi's behaviour.

I don't hear anything except her mumbling a simple 'good' indicating that Yoongi must have nodded in agreement.

I hold my tongue, awaiting the moment when she would leave, "remember Mr Min, if I find anything that would imply that you or your roommate have broken the rules, you will both be suspended and kicked out of the dorms." And with that the clicking of the door is heard once more.

I bite my lower lip, waiting for the all clear before letting go of Maya. Yoongi comes over to the bathroom door, giving it a soft knock. I let out a sigh I didn't realise I was holding as I open up the door.

"That was a close one," Yoongi mutters to no one in particular. I decide to quickly go back into the bathroom to change once I pick out some nightwear.

"Yoongi hyung" I speak slowly, earning the elder boy's attention, "what do you think Jimin was about to say before?"

Yoongi shrugs, peeling off his jeans before jumping onto his bed. He had already previously taken off his tshirt leaving him completely shirtless, the only form of clothing left on his body being his dark grey boxers.

I was beginning to somewhat get used to him sleeping or walking around our room like that yet couldn't help but catch myself staring sometimes or blushing when dirty thoughts would enter my brain at the mere sight of him.

What is wrong with me? I couldn't possibly like him...not like that. I just...admire him? Yeah that's right, I admire my hyung.

I shuffle my feet to turn the lights off before moving towards my bed, Maya already resting on one side of the pillows.

I let myself sink into the softness, curling up next to the small puppy as my mind races with various thoughts;

What if we get caught?

What was Jiminie going to say before he was interrupted?

We have to find a safe home for Maya and quick!

What will my parents say if I get suspended?

Yet all of these thoughts couldn't compare to the very one that kept bugging me the most....
