pool party part 3

bambam watched as yugyeom dragged jinyoung inside his aunt's house with the excuse that 'they needed to get ice' and knowing that they were probably going to end up fucking on the couch. he sighed heavily and leaned back on the pool chair, a pout on his plump lips.

he watched as jackson and youngjae swam around together, youngjae laughing as jackson pecked him on the lips every so often. mark and jaebum had been stuck in a water fight ever since they had had their third can of beer, and were currently running around the pool trying to push each other in. jaebum screeched as mark shoved him into the water, loud cackling erupting from mark's side of the pool as he watched his friend fall.

bambam was starting to regret making that stupid groupchat. he hated feeling like a seventh wheel with all his friends.

deciding to keep his promise to yugyeom and leave when things got too coupley, he grabbed his backpack and put on his still wet t-shirt, walking out of the gate unnoticed.

he walked down the road, feeling the hot sun beating down on his shoulder where his loose t-shirt fell down slightly. he huffed and scooted his backpack straps further up his shoulders.

he hadn't been walking for very long when he heard the familiar sound of a bicycle as it peddled up the road. he tried to ignore it, but when the bike started to peddle along next to him instead of moving ahead, he groaned and turned to shoot the rider a burning glare.

"take a picture, it'll last-"

his words were cut off as he saw the boy riding said bike. he had a head of dark brown curly hair, a large yet confused smile, accompanied by cute dimples, and bright eyes that crinkled around the corners. his breath caught in his throat and he stared at the boy. he was cute. actually, he was super fucking cute.

"ah, sorry" the rider apologized, ducking his head slightly. bambam quickly shook his head, still gaping at the cute boy riding next to him. he had an adorable australian accent that made bambam's heart melt.

"it's okay", he assured, stopping on the sidewalk. the rider pedaled over and stopped as well, using his feet to balance himself and hold himself up.

"i'm assuming you didn't have much fun at the pool?", the boy asked, a cute, questioning smile stretching his lips and displaying his dimples. bambam felt his stomach twist as he looked down at himself, still in his soaking wet swim trunks and t-shirt.

"ah, well", bambam started, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "it's just my friends are all dating and in love or whatever, and i didn't really feel like being a seventh wheel, so i left."

the boy snorted slightly, laughing into the palm of his hand. "that sucks."

bambam shrugged. "yeah." but at least i got to meet you, cute bike boy.

"oh, i'm chris, by the way", the boy, who bambam now knew as chris, introduced himself. bambam smiled brightly, nodding his head up and down like an idiot.

"i'm bambam!"

"interesting name", chris said. bambam shuffled his feet.

"yeah. it's thai. i'm thai. uh, yeah."

chris smiled again, seemingly amused at bambam's shyness. "well, it was nice meeting you. i'm sorry your friends are all in love.

"oh yeah! you too." he watched as chris started to get on his bike, a sudden question popping into his head right before the boy set off. "wait!"

chris looked over his shoulder, a confused expression on his cute face. bambam chuckled awkwardly, stepping forward so they were next to each other again. "um, do you have an instagram?"

chris nodded, his smile revealing his dimples once again. "yeah, it's bangbang1."

"bigbang fan?", bambam asked. chris laughed and shook his head. he had a cute laugh.

"no. well, i mean, yes, of course, but that's not what the user is from", chris explained. "my last name is bang, that's why."

"ahh", bambam breathed. he flushed and stepped back, chuckling slightly. "well, i'll let you go now."

"alright, dm me", chris said, before pedaling off and leaving a dumb-looking bambam watching after him with a smile.
