Chapter 6: Thoughts

It has been one week since Ash has his 'incident' with Greninja and now Ash was currently training with all of his Pokemon. Charizard was sparing with Pikachu, Sceptile was sparing with Hawlucha and Noivern was sparing with Talonflame.

Speaking of Greninja, He was still at the same spot where he and his Pokemon had left him on that day. He wouldn't even bother to move, except maybe to find something to eat in the forest. But after that, he just came back to the same spot, not moving, not talking. His once proud and prideful water type powerhouse was now reduced to nothing but a mental breakdown, cause from what he can see, all that he was doing was staring blankly at the ground with his eyes. His once crimson red eyes was now grey, dull and lifeless and there was always an air of utter defeat around him as well, and when he couldn't kept his emotions from breaking down any longer, he just lowered his head down to hide face and broke down crying and sobbing his heart out along with repeating his apologies. Until he eventually gets tired and fall fainted on the grass due to exhaustion, and when he woke up, he just kept crying his heart out until he fainted again. He even knelt down and bowed his head to the ground in front of him everytime he came near him, out for training or out for just a walk. Which wasn't the thing he would ever thought to do, considering his pride.

"Wait! Why am thinking of him anymore? I shouldn't be! He already meant nothing to me, right?" Ash thought. But still, his mind was twirling with the day that he completely broke Greninja along with his past events with him.

But the real question is "WHY?" Why Greninja had he came back to him, after all this time? Why had he left in the first place? Has he gotten weak again and was about to use him for the second time? Or there was something else that he didn't thought about what Greninja's true intentions was?" Ash thought to himself.

And another question was,"What has he done anything so wrong to make Greninja left?" They have been friends since the very beginning of his journey in Kalos. They had helped stop Professor Sycamore's Garchomp from it's rampage when team rocket put a controlling device on it's neck, they had worked together and win the Cliff badge from the Cyllage gym battle with Grant, back when Greninja was a Froakie. Along with winning the Plant and Psychic badge at the Coumarine and Anistar gym battles with Ramos and Olympia, back when Greninja was a Frogadier and finally saving Sanpei's Ninja village together results in Greninja evolving and get their first taste of the rare, but powerful bond phenomenon together and defeat Hidayu's Bisharp with a single cut. Almost everything that they have gone through together for days, weeks, months and almost an entire year of friendship, but it only just took just one simple action in just one single night to make all of that meant nothing at all?

Ash growled and clenched his fists in frustration, part of him do want to forgive Greninja after seeing him extremely heartbroken by being told that he hated him and being attacked and insulted by four of his closest teammates. Especially Hawlucha, who have been his first and closest friend he'd ever had since he was still a Froakie. But on the other hand, another part of him was too scared that Greninja would deemed him to be unworthy like all of his previous trainers after what he'd done to him. Since he should have listened what Greninja was trying to explain. But no...he just had to cut him off not even bothering what he was trying to explain and instead he just physically hurt him by ordering his former teammates to attack him and metally broke him even more by cursing him and telling him that he hated him.

"But had Greninja left because he didn't had a choice? Was it true that he didn't really cared or missed him anymore?" Ash thought to himself.

Deciding don't know what to do Ash stood up and walk into the forest near his home to clear his mind and either to attempt to give Greninja another chance cause it was partly his fault when he didn't let Greninja explain himself by letting his anger cloud his judgement or should he just continue to be guilty and scared and tried to run away from the fact that he feared Greninja would just push him away after what he has done to him.
