Can't stay away from each other

"you did what?" Chloe spits out half her drink on the ground. Me and Chloe have been friends for about 5 years now. She gets straight to the point about anything i say to her.

"I lost my virginity to Tevin"

"When? Where? How did this even happen?"

"honestly, Chloe i don't know. I mean we was just chilling and talking and BAM. Next thing I know i'm leaving his house at 5 in the morning."

"Jesus, Keirra! Did you use protection?"

"yes, I did."

"Well, have you seen or talked to Tevin since?"

"Yes, but I've kinda been avoiding him. We're supposed to be best friends, not making love on the floor."

"But, these things happen Kierra. It was bound to happen. Yall been friends almost your whole life. Someone was bound to catch feelings."

"That's not the problem though Chloe."

"Than what is?"

"I have a boyfriend. And he has a girlfriend. I can't handle nor deal with the outbreak.!!"

"I think its deeper than that to be honest."

I just take a sip of my drink, because she's right it is. We start gossiping a little and part ways. She's headed to the studio, and I think I might just go for a walk to clear my head .

I yell for my Mom as soon as I get home, but no answer. Theirs entirely to much on my mind and its breaking my focus. Half way down the street I run pass Tevin on a bench. And next thing I know he's running right next to me.

"We haven't done this in a while."

I just nod, and keep running.

"Keirra, say something."

I stop. "Say what Tevin? That i'm in love with my best..." His lips press up against mines before I can finish my sentence. Instead of pulling away, I placed my hand on his heart.

"Wait... Tevin, what are we doing?" I pull away, this isn't right.

"Exactly, what we are meant to do. Keirra, this is more than just attraction. These feelings I have, I can't just shake anymore."

"Te."

"No, Keirra let me finish. Don't talk, just listen."

"okay."

"Ever since we you know, its like.. Its like, look I can't eat, I can't sleep. Even when i see you at school and you walk the other way. I can't help but think about you."

"Save it. Because, if we hadn't.."

"Had Sex Tevin. You probably wouldn't of thought anything different of me. We grew apart, you became this cocky ass wannabe and left me. Left me for miss prom queen, head cheerleader Precious."

"No I didn't! You left me"

"I moved away!!!"

"Exactly, and I was convinced that you was gonna come back."

"I did!"

"After months past!"

"It wasn't my fault Tevin!"

"I never said it was."

"And You never said it wasn't. You can't blaim me for you changing. Because the Tevin I knew would have stood up for me, when his best friend Josh embarrassed me in front of the whole school.!!"

I couldn't fight back the tears, that were falling from my eyes. I just push him away and take of running again. What else was there to do but run.
