>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Summary: (Y/N) is popular, kind to everyone, knows nearly everyone in school and has a few close friends, she's more on the quiet side. Her sexuality is no secret, she doesn't have a preference between guys or girls, has had a few relationships here and there always serious on her part but ends up usually with the other only being in it for her looks or the popularity which (Y/N) never got why it was such a big deal when it literally doesn't matter, or either them not really being right for each other and ending in a mutual break up but after a small act of kindness and shy glances with the new girl maybe she finds someone who's worth being with.

(Y/N) was making her way to her table, her shoulders tense with a bag of chips and a water bottle in hand, not really hungry but she promised her mom she'd buy something for lunch although she was going to just give it to one of her friends, she was interrupted with a high pitched "Hi babe." and thin arms wrapping themselves around her neck in a strong hug. (Y/N) didn't really like hugs not one for much physical contact and everyone seemed to respect that, everyone but a certain pink haired girl who didn't seem to understand the concept of personal space. "Hey." (Y/N) replied back awkwardly taking a step back with a hand on the other's waist to still her. Paige was the typical popular cheerleader with bright blue eyes, big lips, shoulder length wavy pink hair, tall thin body with the right curves. Yes she has had some surgeries and was kind of bitchy but (Y/N) didn't hold that against her in fact she didn't mind that at all as she can do whatever she desires and as long as she's not necessarily hurting herself or anyone else (Y/N) didn't see how it was anyone's concern and why some people had to make her as 'The slut who's slept with the whole football team,' or 'the annoying whore who will fuck anything that has two legs.'

(Y/N) really hated the fact that people stereotyped her and labeled her with such nasty words and how a person like her was used as character who was a rich bitch that ruined everything and who didn't seem to have a nice bone in her body, seeing as if this same character was portrayed as a male character he would be the hot fuckboy that everyone wants and usually is the main guy who ends up with the 'good girl' and had a tragic past that apparently excused his actions.

"What's up beautiful?" Paige says smirking, she has asked (Y/N) out a couple of times before, usually ending in a polite rejection but once she kindly agreed seeing no harm in one date although Paige wasn't really her type, the date was very uncomfortable for (Y/N) as Paige just flirted with her, like she is right now and touched her suggestively which the other didn't seem to appreciate and would try to move her hand in the most polite way and would resolve to holding her hand in hers but after that disastrous date and Paige realizing sex wasn't something (Y/N) would have with just anyone she stopped trying to go out with her but that didn't stop her from the playful flirting and random touches here and there but (Y/N) just shrugs that off and enjoys some of their conversations.

As Paige stood their complementing the taller of the two, using some dumb pick up lines which made both of them chuckle. (Y/N) saw a girl trip from the corner of her eye, her food falling onto the floor as she tried to keep her balance and not fall as well, when (Y/N) turned to get a complete view of the girl she saw her pouting at the spaghetti on the floor thankfully none got on herself, a heavy sigh left her plump lips before she bent down to push most of the food off the floor and into the tray. She quickly excused herself from Paige making her way towards the girl knowing how annoying it can be to clean up a mess you accidentally made in front of many judging eyes having her fair share of clumsiness when she was younger.

Pulling out a packet of tissues from her pocket (Y/N) always made sure she has one for emergencies like these, she offers one to the girl crouching in front of her with a kind smile, the girl eyed it suspiciously after she realized the (Y/H/C) haired girl had no intentions of making a fool out of her, she accepted it with a awkward smile. (Y/N) couldn't help but admire her green eyes for a second before pulling out a few tissues to swipe the rest of the spaghetti onto the tray as the girl with the mesmerizing eyes wiped the sauce from her hands. The two stood up at the same time (Y/N) throwing the wasted food into the bin and placing the tray on top of the other dirty ones.

The (Y/E/C) eyed girl felt a light tap on her shoulder, turning around to see the shorter girl staring at her awkwardly, tightening the hold on the strap of her bag she mumbled out a 'thanks' nodding at the other.

"Anytime." Was (Y/N)'s short reply running her fingers through her hair, a stomach growling interrupted the silence that followed, a small blush creeped up Audrey's face.

(Y/N) pushes her hand out offering her the packet of chips which made Audrey rapidly shake her head side to side, hands flying in front of her face imitating jazz hands as she declined with an adorable stutter.

"N-no I can't have your food." Audrey exclaimed. "It's okay I wasn't going to eat them anyway and they would probably go to waste so it's better if someone actually ate them." (Y/N) said stretching her hand towards Audrey more, the latter taking it with a bashful smile.

"Thanks." Audrey said. "F-for the chips and with the mess earlier." She scratched her arm not really knowing what to do with her hands at that moment.

"No problem.. ah..." (Y/N) trailed off.

"Audrey." The short haired girl supplied, hand flying up before falling back onto her thigh awkwardly.

"No problem Audrey." (Y/N) says pushing her hands into the front of her jeans pockets.

"I guess I'll see you around Audrey." The taller of the two said, slowly stepping her way away from Audrey and making her way towards her table.

(Y/N) greeted her friends settling into easy conversation, Saige pressed into her side on her right talking animatedly about her favourite show with genuine excitement which was one of the things (Y/N) liked about her and learned to ignore the weird feeling of having a body pressed to her side.

"Who's that? She has been staring at you for awhile now." Michael whispered pointing behind (Y/N), the other turning to see Audrey staring at her with an unreadable emotion on her face. (Y/N) offered a small smile giving a short wave, a shocked and confused expression crossed Audrey's face before (Y/N) turned back towards Michael. "Her name's Audrey." (Y/N) said shrugging and Michael just nodded going back to another conversation seeing at it wasn't anything important.

(Y/N) just sat back and watched all her friends talk about the weirdest of things and smiled being thankful for the lovable idiots.
