Always listening (Baldi x reader)

Baldi lined the bodies up beside each other. Why had raff done this? You thought, fresh tears springing from your eyes. You didn't even know him that well! You were hoping to be good friends with phil. And your parents... Oh, your parents. They would no longer be there when you came home. They would never open their eyes again or breathe again. They would never live their lives again, and it was all raffs fault! Baldi had already phoned the police, and was currently hugging you close. You were perched on his lap, crying into his shirt. You suddenly lifted your head up. "Baldi?" You inquired. " Yes? " answered baldi, stroking your head. "Why were you here? How did you know to come?" You asked, curiously. You felt him tense up. You could tell he was nervous. " M-mr. Baldi? " you said, shaking him slightly. "I-it's a very hot day. Is it not? I decided to come for a swim, and I saw what was happening down here." He finished, looking satisfied. " why are you in your clothes then? " you asked, sensing his uneasiness. "I-i d-don't have a bathing suit. I decided to come in my clothes." He said. You narrowed your eyes and brought your face close to his. "Where you following me, mr. Baldi?" You asked suspiciously . He froze, staring down at you, surprised. Just then, you heard sirens. Baldi suddenly took off his shirt and slid it over you. It was extremely large on you, since he was so tall, and you were so small. He lifted you and cradled you like a baby. You blushed, for you didn't want look immature in front of the police. You struggled to get down, but baldi wouldn't budge. You signed and gave up, snuggling into baldis chest. You hid your face in baldis bare chest. "Hello sir, we have been alerted of a suicide murder. I'm going to ask you a few questions." You heard a deep voice, and assumed it was a police officer. "Question 1. Where are the bodies?" Questioned the officer. You felt baldi shift you in his arms and pointed in the direction of the bodies. You heard the rushing of feet, and bodies being lifted off of the ground. "Question 2. Did you know any of the victims?" The officer continued. " Yes. Two were my students and two were the parents of this student here. " said baldi, bouncing you slightly to indicate that they were your parents. "May I speak to the child?" Asked the officer . "Ask her." Said baldi, with a slight edge to his voice. You reveal your face from baldis chest. "Hi." You squeak.   " Hey, little girl. What's your name? " asked the officer in a sugar coated voice. "M-my name i-is y/n." You answered meekly . The officer was a chubby man with black hair and wild sideburns. His eyes were a sharp green and you could see his nose was slightly tilted. "Hi there, y/n! Will you help me with some questions?" He asks. You nod slightly. "Great! So, what happened?" He asks in his sickly sweet voice. " M-me and Phil were g-oing to swim, a-and my classmate raff swam o-out with a g-gun, and he shot my m-mommy and daddy and t-then shot himself. He wasn't dead y-yet and k-killed Phil when he went to retrieve his b-body. Th-then he died! And m-mr. Baldi came and helped me. " you explained, breaking at the end. You hid in baldis chest once more, and sobbed. Baldi held you closer and rubbed your back soothingly. It felt strange hugging your teacher, but he was the only person you had. You felt safe in his warm arms. "Hey, don't cry! I have paramedics who are going to check if there are any survivors. We still have to answer a few questions." Continued the officer, without a care. "If she doesn't want to talk, then she doesn't have to!" Baldi protested. "Alright, alright. You shall answer, then" concluded the officer. "We have two questions left. "Who committed the murder?" Questioned the officer . "Raffaielle troddollen committed the murder." Said baldi. Raffaielle? Is that raffs full name? Apparently it is. "Alright, last question. Can y/n Stay with you for the night, while we sort this out?" Asked the officer. "I don't see why not." Baldi said, slightly smirking. You blushed, why was he
happy about that? "Good then it's settled. We will call you to give you some info on the situation." Concluded the officer. "Thank you sir." Thanked baldi. The officer got in his car and drove off. "Lets go." Said baldi. You thought he was going to let you down, so you tried to jump out of his arms. Of course, your attempt failed. Baldi kept a stern expression, and tightened his hold. "I can walk." You said. Baldi didn't answer you. You turned your gaze up to the star lit sky. You folded your hands and prayed. I love you mom and dad. Please don't leave me so soon. Even if you don't survive, know that your life will carry on as long as I walk the earth. you will always be in my heart. And phil... I'll miss you. I didn't even know you that well, but I know you are a great person. No one will forget you. You are in my heart. Raff. You killed them. But... I know you are still good. You just had problems.it's not your fault. I will not forgive you. But I will still remember you. Amen. You finished the prayer with tears streaming down your face. You fell asleep to the sound of baldis heart and to the light of the glittering stars.

Baldis pov

I felt slight grief for y/n's family and friends.
At least y/n was mine now. She was mine from the start, but those people were in the way. We finally made it to my house. It was a two story house with creme colored paint. I entered the house and went to my room. I gently laid her on my bed. No way was she going to sleep in a different bed than me. I laid down next to her and cuddled her close. She sighed in content. I smiled and fell asleep with the love of my life in my arms.
