Living in LA is a dream. I thought after high school I would've just gone to college, but now after thinking for awhile I'm what I actually wanted to do, I decided to move to LA. My parents are super supportive about my decision. They just want me to be happy. The only thing I'm sad about it leaving my little sister Sofia. Most people assume we hate each other because we are 5 years apart, but when my parents and I found out she had cancer when she was 3 I didn't want to leave her side.

I love my little sister more than anything. She's been in remission for a year now and she's the one that told me to move to LA. She wa also the reason why I was hesitant about leaving because if she has a relapse and I'm not there. But I did leave and we FaceTime everyday.

My best friend Cassidy moved with me so I knew at least one person. I've known Cassidy basically my whole life. She was their when my sister got sick and let me cry on her shoulder when there were scary moments where we didn't know if my sister would make it through the night. You name a moment in my life and she was most likely there.

I grew up in San Francisco. So it's about an 5 and a half hour drive to go home or my family visit me. Which sucks but they are always a phone call away.

Our apartment is not the biggest but it works for us. Cassidy is into the whole decorating thing. So I'm letting her do what she wants with decorating. As me my room as a couple pictures of my family and friends a bed, desk and my close. Cassidy said she'd help me but I honestly don't care that much about it.

"Savannah, I'm going to the store. Do you need anything?" Cassidy ask me.

"You know what I like get it if we need it." I tell her.

"Come with me you haven't really left your room unless it was to come out into the living room."

"Fine."

I got off my bed and throw my hair up into a bun, grab my phone and put shoes on. I follow her into the car and we drive to the nearest grocery store.

"What do we even need at the store?" I ask as we walk in.

"Savannah we've been getting take out since we moved."

"Oh yeah. We should get real food."

We walk around the store putting stuff in our cart that we probably will eat eventually. I walk off by myself to find stuff I need and so we can get this shopping done faster.

I'm not paying attention where I am walking and I end up hitting a body.

"Oh, I'm sorry." I say I look up to see a boy around my age standing there.

"It's all good. I wasn't paying attention either."

I hear Cassidy call for me. "That's my friend so I gotta go before she kills me." I tell him.

"Okay Savannah. I'm Jace, so maybe I'll see you later." He tells me.

"Yeah maybe."

I start to walk away and Cassidy is right around the corner.

"Who were you talking too?" She ask me.

"A guy I accidentally ran into."

"Was he cute? Do you know his name?"

"He was cute and his name was Jace."

"Do you know his last name?"

"Nope."

"Maybe you'll run into him again."

"Maybe."
