deeper into the darkness of the abyss

Sometimes I think drowning would be a peaceful way to die. The water surrounding your every, restless nerve. It's warm and tickles your ears. You don't move; you can't move. Bubbles form from your nose and mouth as you sink deeper and deeper into the darkness of the abyss. The world is numb to you, simply nothing. You're distant. You don't even think of dying or any other possibility. No struggling. You let the water take you.

You. Are. At. Peace.
