Chapter 20

Lilly's P.O.V

I wake up to see pony gone I take a shower bush my teeth and my hair I put my hair in two pigtails a dark blue tank top and a pair of sort sorts, I walk out to see the whole gang there talking.

I ate my food then sat next to pony and Johnny I put my self in a ball and let everyone talk "hey lil you okay?" Bella asked "oh fine" I said looking at the door I want go out to the park or the lake any where, but I'm here I put my head down I look at everyone then get up for a cig I need one.

I get up and walk out no one cares I close the door and light up my cig after about four of them I see no cares that I been outside for an hour so I start walking not even ten houses away a soc car is right next to me just what need.

"Hey there" a boy said it was only two I look at them to see there the same boys from the other night I tried not to show fear I'm doing okay at it "hey I'm talking to you" he said he was? I didn't know.

"Well I didn't care" I said to them "well then I guess you can't teach a greaser girl to be good so I have a better idea" he smirk I don't like that smirk "I think you should leave me alone or else" I said "and what would that or else be?" he asked "you don't want to know" I said thinking of something.

"Or else my gang will beat you guys up" I said "oh really?" he asked stoping the car in front of me "really" I said I looked a beer bottle I pick it up "just leave me alone" I said bottle in hand "oh the little greaser girl thinks she tuff" one said the other laughed.

One came running to me he tried to get a hold on me but I broke the bottle over his head then punched him in the face the other came and got me I yelled "JOHNNY!!! PONYBOY!!! BELLA!!! JADE!!! DALLY!!! SAM!!! ANYONE!!!" "shut her up" he yelled to the other I got the bottle and cut him he let go of me I knee him in the face his nose started to bleed I ran to the house they got in there car I was crying hot tears.

I ran inside everyone look at me "are you okay?!" Johnny they banged on the door "open up little greaser can't hid forever!" they yelled why? why do they want me so bad? "What did you do?" Johnny asked getting up "I didn't do anything they just want me dead I don't know" I said he hugged me "open door you and your brother are dead!" they yelled I locked the door dally, jade, soda, Steve, two-bit, and Darry got and walked out the door.

15 minutes later they walk back in "w-what did y-you guys do?" I asked in a ball on the floor with Bella, and Sam next to me "we kicked these socs butts" jade said closing her blade it had some blood on it "p-pony?" I asked "ya lil" he said "can you come here" I put arms out like a little kid that wants to be picked up "okay" he got up and picked me up.

"Cute" Bella said going to soda, Sam to dally, jade to Johnny, mini to Darry and once again Steve and two-bit alone.

"You two need to start dating" jade laughed "ya ya" Steve said they talked again I was still on pony's lap I stop crying then there was a knock on the door no one got up to get it so I did.

I open the door to see my mom and dad? "J-Johnny!" I yelled he came over "ya lil" he looked at them " what do you guys want?" Johnny asked fear in his voice "you two now come on" dad said "n-no" I said "well I guess we'er just going have to keep the socs coming after you two in till you two do come home" mom said in her bitter voice.

"Now pick us or them?" dad asked a strong beer smell from him "if them means our friends then yes" I said "fine" dad said he came closer to me "just know they don't care about you, they only do cause your Johnny's kid sister" he said Johnny pulled me away from them, they walked away "wait!" I yelled "yes?" mom asked "your wrong they do care, you guys don't!" I yelled at them.

"Fine don't believe me just wait" he said then they got in there car "it's fine come on" Johnny said but I didn't move what if he right? what if they only care about me cause I'm Johnny's kid sister? "lil come on" Johnny said I looked at him "no" I said so low I didn't think he would hear it but he did.

"Come on lil there gone now" Johnny said walking back to me "I know but-but they right, I think there right" I said his eyes widen "no there never right okay the gang does care about you" Johnny said he hugged me.

"But why Johnny I wouldn't even know them if you don't have me meet them" I said putting my head down "and they still care" I walked back in with him.

I sat in a ball on the floor hoping they didn't see me "who was at the door lil?" mini asked "oh no one" lie "you sure?" Bella asked "ya it was no one" lie "why you yelled?" jade asked "oh it was nothing" lie "why are you sad?" sam asked "no I'm just tired" lie "are you lying?" pony asked "how about you stop asking me I don't know just leave me alone!" I shut "I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell" I went back to my ball and just had the tears fall.

"You sure ain't okay" two-bit said a gave him a death stare he back down I got up "and where are you going?" pony asked "so now you care" Why am I being a idiot today "what does that mean?" he asked "nothing I'm going for a walk" I said "with the socs still looking for you and Johnny I don't think so" dally said "I don't care" I said coldness in my voice why I am I acting like this "well you should" he said "well I don't so just leave me alone" I walked out and ran for the lot.

I made it their and found a big tree I sat next to it and cried a little more, what's wrong with me? why can't I be better? gosh I'm worthless! I yelled at myself it was dark by now so I walked back to the house I don't care if the socs try to hurt me I should get hurt I don't want be here I shouldn't be here.

I was five houses from the house when a car stopped in front of me "hey there" great them again "hi" I said "well looks like we found her boys" the two from before and two more "hey do whatever I don't care" I said looking at them "well I guess we can have some fun" he said "okay go head" I said "so you really ain't going to fight back?" one asked "ya I mean why should?" I looked at them.

"Okay" they started to beat me I didn't fight back they did it and when I was on the floor bleeding they got back in there car when where gone I got up and made my way home I was two houses way and fell someone ran to me "hey are you okay?" a male voice said "I-I'm fine" I lied "here let me help you up" he got me back on my feet "thanks" I said "where did you live?" he asked.

"Two houses down" I said "okay come on let me help you" he help me walk to the door "thank you, I'm Lilly" I said "its fine I'm jack" he smiled "okay hope to see you around" I said smiling back "okay bye" he walked away I walked in "what happen?!" they asked "nothing" I sat on the floor thinking about how nice jack was to help me.

"It wasn't nothing your bleeding everywhere" Johnny sat next to me looking at all my cuts I pushed him away "I don't want help" I said "but need it" pony said coming to me "no I don't I don't want help I don't need help I shouldn't get help" I said annoyed with them.

"Come lil he isn't right" Johnny said "who isn't right?" pony asked "the people from the door earlier was mom and dad he said to lil that no one cares about her and that you guys only care cause she my kid sister" Johnny said I got up.

Pony pulled me back down and kissed me I pulled away "pony this can't be fixed with a kiss I just need to be alone" I got up and had a shower when the water hit the cuts it hurt but I didn't care I changed to some shorts and a black tank top I sat on my bed, why?

Why in deed?

I walked out I sat next to pony and Johnny pony pulled me to his lap "are you sure your okay?" pony asked "I'm going to stop laying and say no" I said "well I know could make you feel better" he smirked "pony I'm still 14 wait just a little more like when I'm 18" I said "please!" he begged "nope" I laughed.

"I knew I could make you smile" he laughed "okay but I'm going to bed if you want to come you can" I gave him a small kiss then went to my room he soon came to "hey pony" I said "hey lil" he sat on the bed I sat on his lap my legs around him he fell back I undid his shirt "oh so now you do the work" pony smirked "ya you can't have all the fun" I laughed "pony!!" Someone yelled from the living room "looks like times up" he said "okay but first" I kissed him he fell back down "okay now you can go" I got up "same time?" he asked "same bed?" I asked he walked out.

That was fun but we both know that as far as it will go, I fell asleep soon after and I felt happy Johnny was right dad is wrong. I know they care and I care about them I'm happy with what I got.

I love the gang and they love me. :)
