Your POV

When I woke up I was really tired. I slowly walked into the bathroom and saw dried blood around a huge bruise on my cheek.

'I knew there would be a bruise of some sort.'

I grabbed my back pack and ran to the kitchen grabbing things that don't spoil to eat. As soon as I grabbed everything I made sure I had my golden locket my mom gave me and ran out the door.

I knew that I was going to live outdoors so I pressed on my locked and a sword started to appear in my hand. It was (f.c) and a shape as a small dagger. I practiced my attacking and when I was done I sat on the ground.

"Jake, dude look. A girl. And she looks human too. What if she is a human?" A boy asked another person in assuming is Jake.

"Finn... I dunno. Last time you said that it was a eagle." Jake said.

"But I know it's a girl." Finn said.

"And if I'm not a girl that would be a miracle to not be me." I said turning to them.

"S-sorry. I'm Fi—" Finn said before I cut him off.

"Finn. And then that dog is Jake. Cool I know." I said. I covered my bruise with my hair and fully faced them.  (So coved a side of the face)

"What's your name?" Jake asked.

"It's (F.n)." I said slowly while coming up with a name.

"Nice to meet you (f.n). Where do you live? Jake and I can drop you off. And maybe we can hang out tomorrow and pick you up?" Finn asked.

I hesitated, "I live right here."

"Where? I don't see an house?" Jake asked.

"My house burned down when I was six." I said

"So you lived in the forest forever?" Finn asks with sympathy In his eyes.

"Nope. Stories later when I can trust you peeps fully." I said walking away.

"You can live with us!" Finn blurted out to me.

"Finn!?" Jake whispered shouted to him. Then they argued.

"Yea you can if you really want to." Jake said giving in.

"Sure then. Why not?" And with that I grabbed my backpack and we were off.
