Chapter 2 [Part 2]

They kept looking for Chyler, until Melissa heard her voice calling her.

"Melissa! Blake! Over here!" Said Chyler. Chyler didn't know that Blake had made the choice of not going with Melissa. She knew something had been going on between Melissa and Blake but Melissa always found an excuse to change the subject whenever Chyler asked her about it.

"Oh! Where is Blake?" Said Chyler, as she walked towards Melissa and Chris. Melissa ignored her question completely and just hugged her.

"Chyler this is Chris. Chris this is Chyler." Melissa said, faking a smile. After Chyler and Chris greeted each other Melissa couldn't wait to call Blake and ask him what the hell was going on.

"Sorry guys. I need to take a call. I'll be right back." Melissa said walking away, after giving Farley's leash to Chris. Farley and Drift just played while Melissa was gone.

"Is she okay?" Chyler asked. "Sadly, no. Let me explain..." Chris said and he explained everything to Chyler. Funny thing, Melissa wasn't good at opening up to people, just like Chris. She didn't want to tell Chyler about the problems she was having with Blake, but she did tell Chris about it. She had felt an incredible connection with him since she met him. Of course, Melissa loved Chyler, but this was something... different.

Back to the call. Melissa tried calling Blake two times already and he didn't answer.
The third time's a charm. Melissa thought.

"Hello?" Blake said. "Can you explain me what the hell is going on?" Melissa said. She couldn't wait to hear his ridiculous excuses.
"What are you talking about? How was your flight?" He said, changing the subject.
"Ha! And now you expect me to believe that you care how was my flight!" She said, getting angrier.

"Melissa. What are you talking about?" He said. "Don't pretend that you don't know! I just saw the divorcement papers!" Said Melissa, with a higher tone. People stared at her weirdly.

"Uh- I... How did you find them?" Said Blake, thinking if he had chosen the right words to say.

"When I was looking for the dogs' leashes. I thought they were some payment papers and I put them inside my bag. Now explain. Is this why you have been acting weird since... a lot of time ago...?" She said, trying to hold back the tears. Blake sighed.

"Yes. But Melissa, trust me. It was not your fault. Sorry if I've been cold and distant..." He said. "That's not an explanation." She said, a tone of confidence in her voice was noticeable.
"I... When you went to film the first season of Supergirl. I felt lonely, and I was sick of that. So..." Blake said. "What?" Melissa said, tired of waiting.

"I cheated on you..." He said. He felt a big relief. He didn't think he was going to be able to say it. On the other hand, Melissa couldn't hold the tears back. Those words were the most painful words someone had ever said to her in her ENTIRE LIFE. The person she loved the most, had betrayed her trust. And then he treated her like she was nothing to him. He made her feel useless. Like she was just a waste of space.

Not knowing what else to say, Melissa took a deep breath, and said between tears "Why?"
She kept crying quietly. "You could've just told me you were feeling lonely and we could've been able to solve it!" Said Melissa. She wanted to punch someone at the moment. Angry tears were streaming down her face.

"I'm so sorry babe-" Said Blake, getting interrupted by Melissa. "Don't call me that. Ever again. Do you understand that?" She said. "Yes. I'm sorry Melissa." Blake said. "I just don't want to pressure you. I don't want you to forgive me just because I say so..." He added.

Melissa kept crying quietly, looking down. "I just want you to find someone that deserves you. Because I don't deserve you." He said. Melissa was so fucking tired of him.
