"Are you afraid to go in or something?" A deep voice said behind me. When i turn aroud i was expecting to look down, like i look at most people but this time i had to look up a bit and i rolled my eyes

"Im not afraid." I say squeezing my eyes. "Im not sure if theres any point in me being there at this hour"

"I think we should" the greened eye beauty said. "Miss Coulby wont punish us in any way if we are there by the end of the period" he told me opening the door "After you"

I enter excusing myself but i stay near the door

"What about you, mister Daniels?" Our math teacher asked.

"Well?" She asked again after some time

"Um, he was with me. Im sorry. He just helped me when i got lost" i lie when i see he wasnt gonna say anything

"Very well. Dont be late next time"

"It wont" i say and we both sit down near each other

I started doodling in my notebook knowing i wont understand shit anyway when i felt someone kicking my leg

"What?" I say looking at Jackson

"Why did you do that?" He asks confused

"Do what?"

"Lie for me"

"Umm, idk, you did warn me about she being nice as long as i dont ditch"

"Thanks. Im Jax by the way"

"Anytime" i shrug "Sam"

I stay silent for a while when he breaks my peace

"You are tall" i cant help but laugh

"You are the first person who is taller than me to say that" i look at the teacher making sure she doesnt see us then i look at Jax again

"So" he starts "where did you move from?"

"Evergreen High"

"And why did you? Move i mean"

"Too much to study" i say smirking

He smiles too "i was expecting you too say you were bullied or didnt fit in or stuff. Thats why normal people change schools"

"Yeah, no, people dont bully me. And if they did, i wouldve stayed there to annoy their asses even more"

At that we both laugh again

"Mister Daniels and miss...." my teacjer starts

"Samantha" i say looking at her, barely holding a laugh

"May i ask what was so funny?"

"There was nothing funny miss, i was just telling him something" i say feeling Jax's look on me along with the other student's

"By all means, i want to hear whatever was more important than my lesson" she demans firmly

"Besides... everything?" I hear Jax talk near me

"Mister Daniels!" My teacher said clearly mad

"I just asked for a pen, mine broke." I say and i sit down

"Did you get your pen?"

"Yes miss" i say keeping a straight face

"I dont want to hear a word the rest-" the bell rang "nevermind"

I take my notebook and i get up too leave

"You just cant help saving me, can you?" Jax walks near me smirking

"Oh, please, you were just gonna get me in trouble, so i saved myself" i answear rolling my eyes

"Sure you did" a little laugh escapes his rose lips " what period do you have now?"

"Chemestry. You?"

"History" he answers looking at his phone to be sure "Shame" he added

"And why is that?" I ask when we reach my locker

"Whos gonna save my ass now?" Ge told me making a puppy face

"Very funny" i actually laugh a little "Where do i find the classroom *checks my phone* 34B?"

"Take left, right, left again and down the hall" he said " see you later, i guess" and he leaves

"Yea, i guess" i say faintly. Holy cow he ia both handsome and nicer than "not a good company" as Brooke said

When i snap out of my toughts i see Brooke in front of me

"Girl, you here?" She asks looking at me

"I am now. Thanka for directions btw"

"Oh geez, sorry, ill give you directions now" she says

"Theres no need. I got them already" i confess

"You did?" She asks confused "who gave them to you?"

"Jax did" i say taking another notebook from my locker, replacing it with the math one

"Jax as is Jackson Daniels?" I nod "How did you even talk to him?"

I tell her what happened before and during the math class and i cant tell if what shes thinking

"He is really nice" i add

"He probably just wants to sleep with you" she replies

"Thats not gonna happen so whats yoir problem? Cant i be friends with a guy without you assuming i wanna have sex with him?" I say anger in my tone

"He is usually not like that" she tells me, calmly

"How? A decent human being? I gotta go to chem, ill see you later" i say and leave. I wonder whats gotten into her. Cant i have friends? I wish O was he- no i dont.
