You and Hayes have known each other since the first grade now you are going into the 9th grade. You have had a crush on him since Kindergarten. You want to ask him out so bad but you don't know if her likes you back. What if he didn't? Then what? It would be really awkward so you might ruin your friendship. And that's the last you want to happen. One day for some reason you get enough courage to go up to him and try to talk about the subject. "Hey" you say "Hey I was just coming over to talk to you" he says smiling at you "You were about what?" You ask him. "Here's the thing I really like you a lot. Since pre-k to be exact. And I didn't want to ruin our friendship but I was wondering if you wanted to go out and then possibly be my girlfriend? I hope you say yes cause if you don't our friendship will be awkward as hell" he says. Your in shock. He has liked you since pre-k. He didn't say anything for the same reason you didn't say anything. And you were going to talk to him about the same thing. "Of course I would love too Hayes how could I say no your the only person I know that actually understands me and all my weirdness" you say. you both start to laugh then you interlock fingers and walk out of the school. When you get home you can't stop smiling. You go into your room and start to text Hayes. You smile when you changed his name in your contacts from Hayes to Bae.

- FAST FORWARD-

You and Hayes have now been dating for years. You have graduated High School and now you are going on a date because it is your anniversary. You two meet at the restaurant and sit down at a booth. You two have not had your first kiss yet and you are getting antsy. Is there a reason that he has not kissed you? Did he want me to make the first move? Should I kiss him? What's going on? You two order and start to talk. "I can't believe we have been dating for this long" he says "Yup 3 years today" You says smiling at him. He holds you hand from across the table. Your food gets here and you two start to eat. So since we are 18 I was wondering if you would like to marry me?" he asks placeing the ring on your finger. You cover your mouth in shock then starts to cry. You try and say yes but you can't. So you just nod your head yes. You two get up and hug and everyone starts claping. You try and pay but Hayes gets it before you do. You go outside and get into the car. He drives you home and walks you to your door. Your about to go inside then he grabs your arm. "I love you" he whispers in your ear. "I love you too" you whisper back. Then, it happens. He kissed you. You smiles and hug him goodbye then go inside. You go upstairs and change but you can't get the smile off your face. You fall asleep to the though of him in your mind.
