You and Jacob Whitesides have been friends since the first grade. You have liked him since the second grade, but you don't want to say anything because what if he doesn't like you? You don't want to ruin the friendship you and him have. One day at school you and Jacob are talking in study hall. "So I finished another song" he says smiling at you. "Name?" you ask him "Life of The Party" he says laughing a little. "So Chantele can I ask you something?" he says. Oh shit, you hate those words. Those words could mean anything. ANYTHING. "Shoot" you say hiding your nervousness. He scratches the back of his neck then runs his fingers throw his hair. "Well how long have we been bestfriends?" he asks. Relief rushes throughout your body knowing he only wanted to know when you too became best friends. "Umm First Grade. I remember I said 'hey I like your shirt you my friend now'" you say laughing. He laughs too then says "So that would mean I have liked you since the First Grade and wanted to ask you out since the second grade." You are shocked. He liked me since we met. Holy shit. This is not happening. "I have liked you since the second grade" you say smiling and even blush a little. "Oh really? So Chantele wanna be my girlfriend?" he asks "I would love to Jacob" you say. He smiles then you kiss him in the cheek. The bell rings and the two of you walk out of the class room holding hands. "See you at lunch?" he asks "Sure" you say to him smiling. You two let go of each others hands and walk in opposite directions. You were an A+ math student but yet all you could think about in math class was Jacob. You can't believe that this is happening to you. After years of liking him, he was your boyfriend. And people say your crush never likes you back.
