Chapter 5- A deadly secret

The sun was setting over the beautiful city of Seoul, changing colours within an instant going from deep blue to a spectrum of orange and yellow. It was as-if the Lord in the sky painted a picturesque setting making sure the three youngsters were in awe of the beauty in the sky. The full moon was sat right on top of the point of N Seoul Tower, right in the middle of their view, like a perfect painting.

As Kevin and Suzy (Jae Eun) made there way to the peak of the hill they saw Hwall in his 'hideaway' looking quite sad. They stop suddenly in their tracks to see if he would have noticed them but he just started straight at the floor in a daze whilst fiddling with his fingers. Kevin coughs quite loud to gain his attention. Surprisingly it works and his head turns, facing them. He sighs..." I was wondering when you two would be finished talking and actually join me." He says frustrated. Pushing his our of his face, he turns and make direct eye contact with them both. Suzy's face blushes slightly as she looks at the ground pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "We were just talking about everything, I was just making sure she was settling in well... sorry we must have gotten carried away." Kevin replies apologetically whilst walking over to him. He sits on the log next to hwall and nudges him the way he normally does when he knows Hwall is upset. "So what were guys talking about down their?" Hwall asks curiously, awaiting a long reply. Kevin quickly turns to Suzy and her face looked surprised... like she didn't want him to know. " erm it wa" She begins to talk before getting cut off by Kevin. " Just about why she chose our school. Why she moved here. If she made any friends besides us... you know, girl talk? " He replies, covering up the truth to make sure Suzy isn't hurt or embarrassed. Obviously not all of it was a lie...Hwall slightly chuckles and sighs whilst shaking his head. "So nothing important then... or am I not allowed to know because its some 'girl talk'" He replies in a rather sarcastic tone. Before Kevin can reply Suzy steps forward "Just girl talk... you don't seem like you're into that kinda talk soo...." she replies in her defence. Slowly he begins to stand up shaking the dirt off him and turns his eye to Suzy.. staring through her, piercing her soul. He smiles "Well... there is a lot you don't know about me...but excuse me I will be heading off now to do you know 'non girly stuff'. He says in an argumentative, sarcastic tone. "I will see you at home ?" Kevin asks. Kevin as his best friend know there was something up. he knew it was best not to talk to much and just best to let him get over it himself. Hwall always goes back to him when he is ready to talk... just like girls, boys confide in each other to boys get emotional too.

Whilst he begins to walk away Suzy stands right in front of him to stop him from leaving. She grabs his wrist and looks in his eyes. "Hwall.. talk to me..." she pleads. He smirks "Hmmm, sorry I don't do 'girl talk' " He says extra sassy and walks around her plugging his earphones into his ears to block out their voices and the background noise. They stare as Hwall is walking away, going further and further our of their reach. Kevin stands up and puts his hand on Suzy's shoulder. "You do know I cant keep I hidden for long...we tell each other everything and I feel so dirty for lying to him" He says full of regret. "But.. its not your place to tell him..." she says sternly.. Kevin becomes agitated. "Well then you shouldn't have told me, you should have told us both... we come as a team." He replies harsh. An immediate silence is surrounding them as the reflect on their actions whilst listening to the wind blow and watch the orange night sky turn to darkness. "Hey... I will take you home now... i bet ur mum is wondering where you are now. you do know what the time is?" Kevin questions. Slowly she raises her head from her hands... "What?" she says confused. "Its like 11pm..." He replies casually. Suddenly her face grew shocked, her eyes widened at the sudden realisation of the time. "s***! I gotta go now! i know my way back, i have good memory.. erm i will see you tomorrow in class." she shouts whilst running home. Kevin was caught of guard and before he could reply she was gone... faster than lightening. He chuckles, "I guess I'm walking alone then" he mutters under his breath.

*BUZZ BUZZ/BUZZ BUZZ*

His phone begins ringing.

*Mummy Bear*

Kevin-"

Yes mum I'm coming home now don't worry."

Kevins mum- "Get home now... there is police and ambulance everywhere... somethings happened!"

Kevins Mum -"Please get home now!"

Kevin- "right ok I'm running now! see you soon!"

*END OF CALL*

"Hwall what have you done now!" He mumbles under his breath. He makes his exist from the hideout and runs home.

*40 mins later*

*Sirens sounds*

Just as Kevins Mum said, their street was filled. Police cars were everywhere along with a swat team and multiple ambulances. Kevin makes his way through the crowd pushing people who were in his way. He finds his mum right at the front, in tears. "MUM!" He shouts continuously. She hears him and turns around to find him. "KEVIN GET HERE !" She pleads. Finally after pushing his way though the crowd he finally got the front. The view was not pretty. He could not believe what he saw with his own innocent eyes. His jaw dropped and tears began filling his eyes as his dropped to the floor. "No... no this cant be real... who did it, WHO DID THIS!" He screams whilst bursting out in tears. His eyes bean swelling up, his face turning red with anger, his voice breaking. His mum falls to the ground next to him and they embrace each other. While they were hugging and crying Kevin just stared at the body laying lifelessly on the floor, the noise of people and the sound of sirens all became a blur as he focused his attention on the body. Kevin began closing his eyes suddenly. His own body, too becoming lifeless. He slumps in his mothers arms, Kevin had passed out. His mother screams his name, patting his face to wake him up. She pulls a stranger in the crowd, "PLEASE HELP! I NEED HELP, MY SON!" She says frantically. The stranger alerts police who alert an ambulance to help. They begin taking tests and putting on an oxygen mask to help and make sure he is breathing, after that they proceed to place him on a stretcher and take him to the hospital. He begins waking up slowly to the sound of his mothers cries, his eyes flutter a couple of times and the close again... The doors slam and sirens begin to sound as they leave the scene.
